I covered my mouth at the size of the present. It was wrapped with a really dark red, almost blood like, color. There was a "To From" ticket but my mom never bothered to write anything on in. To top everything off, she put a perfectly tied, blue, classic bow. I stared at her waiting for her to say something clever, or at least a clue of what it is.

"It's what you have always wanted," she explained with a calm voice. Sometimes I don't even know what i always wanted so I'm pretty much screwed at this point.

"Wii?" I asked but she shook her head as I kept saying, "X box? Playstation? Another laptop?" I was frustrated by this point and just gave up.  Something was bothering me to like tear it up like a lion would to to its prey. Instead I just ripped the tape from each corner where the wrapping met. I started to unfold it and my happiness sank like the Titanic. I didn't know what to tell my mom because she had this really excited eager face waiting for me to reply.

"A Nintendo 64! I love it!" I lied. It hurt to lie to my mom. Really? A 64? Mom I know you're pregnant but why do you have to be this mad at me? I thought to myself.

"Aw sweety. I knew this was the perfect present for you. You don't even have to bother looking for a game either!" She pulled out a little game card from her pocket. It had duck tape on it and the words "Majora's Mask" written across it. I shrugged inside but acted surprised outside. I took the console if the table with the game on top and made my way to my room. I stared at the console for about 30 seconds before I got my backpack to start my homework. Sometimes I stopped working and just stated at the console for a good 10 to 30 seconds.

"That's it," I murmured to myself.  The console was irritating me for too long now. I got the console, wrapped the cables up around it, and shoved it to the back corner of my closet.

"What was that sweety?" my mom called from downstairs.

"Nothing! Just putting things away!" I called back. The console made a big BONK sound when I put it down.

"Now I won't have any trouble," I said as I walked back to bed. I went back to work. Worry free.
