Oh geez. I'm really sorry for the wait and thank you for the patience. Here it is. FINALLY. I know just please hang in there.

"Malie? Hey! Malie. Wake up, Malie," called a smooth voice. I slowly started standing in an opaque abyss that seemed to go on forever. I followed the voice that kept on saying, "Come on... Play....." The voice was very soothing and relaxing I couldn't help myself but find out what it wanted.

"Malie! What are you doing?!" screamed out another voice. That one sounded way too familiar. I woke up and fell back. The pain in my butt made me realize that I was trying to open my closet.

"What happened? Why am I on the floor?" I questioned half asleep. My mom looked at me with an expression that made me shiver. My head hurt as if it were hit by a basketball. Then I realized what was happening.

"Was I purposefully hurting my head on the closet door?!" I exclaimed. She huffed and stormed out of my room. I rubbed my head while going back to bed. Why did this happen? Oh God I hope this was only for tonight. I thought to myself. Then I was lulled to sleep.

"Why is your head bruised, Ms. Valderin?" asked my history teacher. I looked up at him, waking up from my day dreaming. He tried to touch it but I recoiled as his hand approached.

"I...... Went to the bathroom and didn't know the door was closed," I lied. It's really hard trying to convince this teacher and for once he believed me. He chuckled and replied, "Heavy sleeper aren't we Ms. Valderin?" I forced a slight chuckle and nodded my head.

The bell rang for all us to go out to lunch. I quickly said goodbye and ran out the door. I didn't want anyone else noticing the bruise. Of course, things never go my way.

"Malie! What happened to you? Are you ok? Don't ignore your mate!" screamed the heavily Australian accented Leck. I rolled my eyes and ran faster. I felt his hand on my shoulder turning me around. He hugged me and looked at my forehead.

"For the last time I'm not your 'mate'," I explained. Leck laughed and tried to kiss my bruised head. I arched my back so he wouldn't reach me. He stared at me and pushed me away. I stumbled a bit and decided to look for Sydney.

Sydney stared at me as I told her what had happened that night. I touched the bruise to show her how it hurt and I only winced. I actually wanted to cry like a baby but stopped myself.

"I can't believe this. You're a sleep walker?" she asked. I shrugged. We used to have sleepovers when we were kids. This has never happened to me back then. I broke the still silence by explaining, " The weird part is that I felt it wanted me to play the game."

"What do you mean? That's the most weird thing I've ever heard you say," she told me with a slight smile.

"I know but," just then we had to go to class. We said quick goodbyes and left.

It was the end of the day. I felt very uneasy and surprisingly didn't want to go home. Something was calling me and luring me home. Usually it's my bed waiting for me to plop on to it and sleep. This time it was different. I knew that wasn't a good sign.
