Khaza (POV)
I was just leaving the hospital after watching Beezy act a fool. Damn everybody just catching HIV and shit. I called up Jada to make sure she was straight. I brought her home earlier so we can keep things straight with her and Quint's deal.
Jada: Hello?
Khaza: what's good?
Jada: What's good? Boy I'm not yo homie. Try that again.
Khaza: Hey baby how you doing?
Jada: That's better and I am paranoid as hell. I'm worried and I miss you. Can't we just find another way to do this.
Khaza: I miss you too. I think we can arrange something cuz I do wanna see you
Jada: I'll come to you.
Khaza: I'll get a room for us and text you the room number.
Jada: Oh I see. You tryna treat me like yo hoes.
Khaza: I aint got no hoes. You are my hoe.
Jada: You got me fucked up. But wateva that's fine.
Khaza: Don't be like that
Jada: I don't see why I can't just go to your house. He'll prolly just think I'm tryna get back close to you.
I thought about it for a minute and she's right. Its like a win win situation for me I can have my baby and getting closer and closer to getting rid of Quint bitch ass for good.
Khaza: You right. Come by the crib ima be waiting on you.
Jada: Ok babe. I love you.
Khaza: Love you too ma.
Jada: Um. Excuse you? That fake ass love you.
Khaza: Lawd you so dramatic.
Jada: I'll show you dramatic. Say it right nigga.
Khaza: I love you too.
Jada: That's right daddy mama loves you.
Khaza: You getting crazier and crazier.
Jada: Hush. I'm on my way.
Khaza: Ight hurry yo fine ass up.
Jada: I am not to be rushed.
Khaza: Ight baby take yo time.
Jada: Haha bye boy.
She hung up on me. I smiled hard. I was in love fareal I know what I got and I aint letting it go. She keep it real and I love that. She just absorbing all this bullshit tho and its making her kinda crazy. Anyway I was thinking what should I cook for her tonight. A lil appreciation dinner.
Jada (POV)
Just when I was about to get in my car my phone started ringing. It was a private number. I don't normally answer them but I had a idea of who it could be.
Jada: What?
Quint: Manners lil lady that was impolite
Jada: What do you want?
Quint: Come by so we can discuss the things I need you to do.
Jada: Can't we discuss it over the phone?
Quint: I have your family locked up like animals. Get here now.
Jada: I don't even know where you are.
Quint: 2120 Broadway St. You can't miss it. Don't have me waiting too long I might lose my patience.
The call ended. I wanted to kill his ass myself. But I'll hold until I get them back. I called up Khaza to let him know in case I don't come back at all.
Khaza: Miss me already?
Jada: In your dreams. Anyway Quint just called he wants me to come see him.
Khaza: About what?
Jada: I don't really even know. Just was telling you in case I come up missing.
Khaza: He's not gonna do that. Just see what he wants Ima be on it I got you. Text me the address you gonna be at.
Jada: Ok. You better come for me im not playing.
Khaza: When have I left you hanging?
Jada: I don't wanna hear that. I'm about to text you the address I'm at the place now.
Khaza: Ight be careful. I love you.
Jada: I love you too.
I texted him the address and entered this raggedy looking two story house. But it looked a lil more decent on the inside tho. There were people with clear gloves on bagging up cocaine and naked women walking around and bagging up dope too. And the place reeked of smoke. I spotted Quint staring at me on the stairs. When I got up there he was smiling and it mad me even more mad. I hated this dude.
Quint: So glad you could make it lets talk.
Jada: I'm not tryna be here all night. So get to it.
Quint: You're so cute. But I want to discuss Khaza. You see I have been trying to keep an eye on you but the problem is you haven't been at home for me to do that.
Jada: Ok and?
Quint: Where have you been?
Jada: With Khaza.
Quint: Oh so you just don't care about your family that's basically what you're saying?
Jada: I didn't tell him anything if that's what you are thinking.
Quint: I thought you'd say that but I can't get why would you go to him without knowing what I wanted you to do first? You thought I wanted you to get back together with him?
I just looked at him. I think he knows. He walked closer to me and he was staring into my soul. My voice came out in cracks when I spoke
Jada: I... I took matters into my own hands
Quint: No I think you are tryna play me. I thought you were smarter than that.
He turned on a tv and there they were sitting on a hard concrete floor holding each other crying. It made me wanna cry too seeing them like this.
Jada: Please.
Quint: Ssh ssh everything is fine. I just have people across the country that's ready to give me a good bid for Jaylen? Is it? Those thick thighs and her waist so curvy it makes me really hard. I'm sure the there's a lot of people ready to pimp that one out.
Jada: You're disgusting.
Quint: Haha. And your grandma she's a lil funny one I'd hate to have to kill her. In front of you of course
He seriously finds these things funny. How is able to hurt people this way and not feel bad about it. I couldn't stop the tears now. They were tears of hate. He stood closer in my face and after about 2 minutes he slapped me.
Quint: You think you can play me? I been keeping tabs on all you bitches. SPIKE!!!
A big buff dude came in and Quint told him to take me away.
Jada: What?! No!!
Quint: We can play some other time darling.
He was hysterically laughing as I got carried away and no matter how much I kicked and screamed he was just too damn big. He carried me down into a basement like place. This has to be built underground. When he threw me inside a cold dark room I thought it was gonna be with my sis and grandma but I was alone. I sat on the floor crying hoping Khaza come soon.
