I grabbed the keys to the Benz and headed to the trap to meet Andre. While I was driving, this crazy bitch Drika kept blowing up my phone.
I finally answered, irritated.
"What?!" I snapped.
"Damn," she said. "Nigga, I been calling you."
"I been busy. What you want?"
"I miss you, daddy. I was wondering if you could come over tonight."
I laughed under my breath. "I told you I'm done fucking with you."
"But why?"
I looked at the phone with a disgusted expression.
"Bye, Drika."
I hung up in her face.
This bitch really wanted to act stupid like she ain't get caught messing with some random nigga. Yeah, I had hoes, but when I was in a relationship, they never came between me and my girl. I knew how to separate business from feelings.
Drika was just grimy.
I pushed her out my mind and pulled up behind the house. Andre must've seen me coming because the back door swung open before I even got out.
"Wassup, nigga?" Andre said. "Bout time you got here. Let's load up."
"Fasho. Where everybody else at?"
"Ron and Mike already at the spot. I don't know where them other fools at. Probably still hungover from last night."
I laughed. "Clown ass niggas. Come on though, let's move this. I got shit to do."
"Whatever, nigga. Just help me load this up so we can hit the road."
We loaded the packages into the truck and took off.
Two hours later, we pulled up to the warehouse.
As soon as we parked, Scias stepped outside with two other dudes trailing behind him.
I leaned toward Andre.
"Watch them two on the left."
Andre nodded quietly and adjusted the Glock tucked against his waist while I stepped forward to greet Scias.
He carried a black briefcase in one hand.
"What you got for me, Khaza?" he asked with a grin.
"Depends on what you got for me."
He chuckled. "You've always been smart."
I gave Andre a look, and he popped the trunk.
One hundred kilos. Exactly what Scias ordered.
I slowly removed my shades.
"Open it."
Scias cracked open the briefcase.
Stacks of cash.
Beautiful.
I motioned for Andre. "Grab the money counter out the truck."
The machine hummed while I counted every dollar. No shortcuts. No mistakes.
Ten million exact.
I nodded once at Andre, then at Scias.
Scias turned toward one of his men. "Get the packages."
The tension eased once the exchange was complete.
"It's always a pleasure doing business with you, Scias," I said.
"Yea whatever nigga."
Once everything cleared out, me and Andre got back in the Benz and headed to meet Josh.
