Pacifica’s eyes shot open. The clacking of a keyboard and clicking of a mouse could be heard in the distance.

He better not be pulling an all nighter again. She thought to herself.

Dipper would lose track of time some nights and ended up staying up the whole night researching. She hated it when he did that, as if he didn’t even care about his own well being. She practically had to drag him out of his office by his ear some nights because he was “on to something.” She had a feeling tonight would be one of those nights.

Pacifica stood up and slipped on her slippers and her robe and made her way to his office. She opened the door and saw the meal she gave him hours ago, barely touched. She sighed, now knowing she would definitely have to drag him out.

“D-Dipper?” She quietly called out.

“Hm?”

“Are you coming to bed?”

“In a minute.”

“Babe, it’s 7 am and you need to sleep.”

“Is it? Oh well. I’ll just stay up.”

“Mason…” Pacifica said sternly.

Dipper turned to look at her that time. He knew he was in trouble when his real name was used.

“Bed. Now. Don’t make me unplug the internet.”

“Okay, okay. Let me brush my teeth first.”

Pacifica smiled to herself, feeling accomplished, as Dipper stood and walked into the bathroom to do his nightly routine before bed.
