Dipper stared at the list that laid out in front of him. It wasn’t as complex and the one he made for Wendy, which made him think it would work better. He was going to ask Pacifica out and he had to make sure it was perfect. This was Pacifica after all.

“Whacha doing, bro-bro?”

Dipper scrambled to hide the list and said, "N-Nothing.”

“You should know you can’t lie to me.”

Dipper sighed and whispered, “I’m going to ask Pacifica on a date.”

Mabel’s eyes lit up, “Ooh. Where are you taking her? When? How are you going to ask her?”

“Someplace great. I’m not giving you the details because then you’ll spy on us. Probably Friday. And I have a plan.”

“Ugh. It’s one of those stupid lists, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, but it’s a simple list. I swear!”

Mabel looked at him, doubting that statement was true, and said, “It better be. Just be yourself.”

“I promise I will. Now I have to go meet up with her.”

Pacifica smoothed her dress as she walked towards the front door. She opened the door and stepped outside. After her sixteen years of living in the manor, she was starting to get crowded despite it having more than twenty rooms. As soon as she was in her car, she breathed a sigh of relief. She opened the messaging on her phone and sent a text to Dipper.

(I’m leaving now. Be there soon.)

(Okay.)

Pacifica started her car and put it in drive as she drove towards the spot they agreed to meet at.

(Later that week)

“Dipper, where in the world are you taking me?”

“If I told you, it wouldn’t be a surprise.”

Dipper looked over at Pacifica sitting in the passenger seat of his old pick up truck. He swore she was beautiful without even trying. Before he asked her to put the blindfold on, he saw she was wearing almost no make up which put a smile on his face. He told her once that she was beautiful without it and noticed she would wear less and less of it the more they hung out. She was wearing a simple purple shirt with jeans and flats. He couldn’t help but stare at her. Dipper turned his eyes back to the road and was looking for a place to hide the truck away from passersby. He found a spot where it would be fairly well hidden in the trees and pulled in. He put it in park and killed the engine. He got out of his side and ran around to the other side to get Pacifica’s door for her and to help lead her through the forest. Dipper grabbed the picnic basket out of the back seat and they began their long walk.

“Can I get a hint at least?”

“Well we’re in the forest right now.”

“I gathered that by the smell."

Dipper chuckled. She was being difficult and the both of them knew it.

“Just have a little patience. We’re almost there.”

The two came into a clearing that Dipper found about three years ago. The crystals were still there, as were the small and large animals. He smiled to himself, hoping Pacifica would like this as much as he thought she would.

“Alright, Paz. You can take it off now.” Dipper said as he laid out the blanket and set the picnic basket down.

Pacifica took off the blindfold as fast as she could, glad to get the damned thing off. She looked around and thought her eyes were playing tricks on her at first. On her right, were large crystals and all around her were animals that varied in size. She knew her jaw was probably on the ground, but she was truly amazed.

“How did you find this place?”

“I found it about three years ago when I was tired of all the short jokes Mabel and Stan were throwing at me.”

“It’s beautiful.”

“Not as beautiful as you.”

Pacifica whipped her head to look at him and apparently Dipper realized what he said as he had his mouth covered with both hands and his face was getting very red.

“I-I can’t believe I just said that.”

Pacifica chuckled, “Never mind all that.”

She walked towards him and removed his hands from his face. Yep, he was definately red. And completely adorable. Pacifica turned on some music from her phone and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Dance with me, Pines.”

“Whatever you say, Northwest.”

Dipper placed his hands just above her hips and they began to sway to the music. Dipper was focusing very hard to not step on her feet and he didn’t notice her face becoming closer and closer to his until she was just a couple inches away. Dipper could feel his heart trying to beat it’s way out of his chest as he closed his eyes and leaned forward, crashing his lips onto hers.
