Sometimes Regina hated living in New York City. The winters were cold and gruesome but it gave her time to herself. At the moment there was a snowstorm going on outside while she was nice and toasty inside. She was seated on her couch cuddled in a few blankets as she drank her hot cocoa with cinnamon and watched Netflix.

Regina moaned softly as she took a long sip of her hot beverage. She was wearing one of her favorite giant sweaters that she slept in and her matching fuzzy socks. It was going to be a regular snow day stuck inside. She was going to spend her time watching some show.

The particular episode she was watching was making her cry with joy but then the television cut off and so did everything else in her apartment. She frowned as she stayed cuddled in her blankets and decided to finish her cocoa.

Unfortunate for her she was getting colder by the second. She groaned as she got up and went to the laundry room in her apartment. She tried starting the individual backup generator but of course hers wasn't working. She has very limited choices at the moment so Regina put on a pair of leggings, slipped on her toasty Uggs and threw on her coat.

She ventured into the chilly hallways and sighed as she looked at her neighbors door. Her and her neighbor, Robin Locksley, weren't that close. She's seen him around town and they hung out before. It was nothing serious but just looking at him made Regina weak at the knees. He was hotter than hot and that made her hesitant to knock on his door but she did so anyways.

"Oh, hello Regina." Robin said smiling as he opened the door.

"Hey, Robin. I'm sorry to bother you but my power went out and it's freezing over there. Do you mind if I stay here for a bit?" Regina asked nervously as she looked up at his blue eyes.

"Oh, come in. You can stay as long as you want." Robin said taking off Regina's coat and hanging it up.

"Thank you, Robin." Regina said as she walked into his toasty apartment.

"You can make yourself at home and I'll get something for us to drink. Is tea okay?" Robin asked and Regina nodded smiling at him.

Regina wandered into his living room and smiled at the pictures of his son. Regina knew that Robin was divorced and had a son that she saw a few times. She was very fond of the boy and loves spending time with him. She sighed as she sat down on the couch and took of her boots.

"Here you go milady." Robin said as he walked up and handed her a mug of tea.

"Thank you, Robin. I'm sorry if I'm intruding on whatever it is you were doing." Regina said as she sipped her tea.

"No, it's fine Regina. I always enjoy your company." Robin said making Regina's cheeks blush. "We should see each other more often."

"I would love that. You always manage to make me smile." Regina said and Robin chuckled as he held her hand making her blush again.

"I love seeing that beautiful yet elusive smile." Robin said making Regina smile.

"So, how's Roland been? I haven't seen him in a while." Regina asked smiling at him.

"He's been a good little curly haired son." Robin said chuckling before the lights went out leaving the apartment completely dark.

"I guess I'll be freezing to death." Regina mumbled to herself.

"No, you won't." Robin said grabbing the blanket from the back of the couch and wrapping it around her shoulders.

"I'm so cold." Regina whispered as she hugged herself.

"Come here, Regina." Robin said as he pulled her onto his lap. "Is it okay if I hold you like this?" Robin asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
