The Sneak-out

I sighed laying back in my bed. It was currently 1:00pm and I was dying of boredom. I grabbed my phone to see that Mai has been texting me non-stop. I decided to finally reply.

😸Mai Pie❤
Me- hey... What's up?
Mai- you scared me!! I thought you were dead!😡
Me- sorry... I was busy...
Mai- sure you were... Come outside... Let's go do something!
Me- I can't... I'm grounded remember😑
Mai- then it'll be our little secret😉
Me- haha... Fine. I'll be out in a bit.

I got up from my bed and headed to my closet. I grabbed a plain black shirt with some ripped blue jeans. I pulled on a red beanie and my red converses. I smiled and walked out of my closet grabbing my phone and bag heading downstairs. I'm lucky my mom wasn't home so now I could just walk out the front door.
I opened the door and headed down the walk way. I saw Mai at the corner and smiled. She was wearing a cute light green dress that complimented her eyes. Mai was facing her back towards me on her phone so I decided to scare her. I tip-toed behind her and grabbed her shoulders "Boo!" I laughed as Mai screamed. "Yah! Don't do that!" She pouted and I couldn't help but smile at her cuteness. "Whatever... Where are we going?" I rolled my eyes playfully as I walked besides Mai back to her car. "To look for outfits for that crazy party!" She smiled excitedly. I looked down and sat in the passengers seat buckling up "oh..." I mumbled. "Yup! And I heard Sebastian is going to be there!" She squealed turning on the car. I rolled my eyes "great..." I mumbled looking out the window as she drove out of her driveway. Mai went on and on how she wanted to impress Sebastian and I just sat there not even paying attention. I was so annoyed about Sebastian that it was completely ruining my time with Mai. "Do you think Sebastian would like this?" Mai smiles holding the dress up to her and faces me. I slightly look up from my phone and nod not really caring. "OK grumpy... What's up?" She giggled sitting next to me. I rolled my eyes "nothing... I just don't see why it matters what Sebastian thinks..." I state rudely. "It means everything! He is my crush after all!" She stands up freaking out. I nod annoyed "I know..." I stand up and roll my eyes. "I'll be at the food court of you need me." I walk out of the shop and head to the food court. Mai stands in disbelief as she rushes after me dropping the dress. "Sasha!" She shouts running after me. I can feel tears trying to run down my cheek as I ignore her. She stops to catch her breath and watches me walking away.
