*Luke's P.O.V.*

"Mr. Carson, Librarians.... Luke...."

I threw my hands up in pure disgust at how Jenkins mentions my name.

"Welcome to Camelot."

"It's... not what I imagined it to look like." Ezekiel stated dryly, scanning the country side.

Ezekiel was right. Camelot, or what was left of it, looked nothing like what I had imagined it to be. I'm sure that King Arthur's castle looked stunning in its prime time, but now.... Camelot was nothing more than a few standing walls here and there, with much of the stone scattered over the 2 mile hillside.

Now I understand why Dulaque wants to bring back Camelot..... if this was my home, I'd be sad too.....

Colonial Baird grabbed my arm and pulled me behind a wall! Confused, I peered around the corner.

Well, speak of the Immortal!....

Dulaque and several Serpent Brotherhood members walked past our hiding spots, (the Librarians, Jenkins and Clyde hiding across the path), and rounded a corner up ahead. Once we regrouped on the path, Clyde nearly squeaked, "Looks like Dulaque just arrived."

Was Clyde... scared?

And why would Dulaque be here?

Unless....

Using a side path, we managed to sneak alongside the Serpent Brotherhood without being detected. We stopped behind a wall as Dulaque and his minions walked into a small clearing, where a jagged rock pillar sat at its center.

"That's where Dulaque cast the spell a thousand years ago," Jenkins explained to us mortals, "The pillar serves as a reminder of what happened that day...."

WHOOSH!!!!!!

Rita roared overhead with such force, you could feel the ground shaking, (like a earthquake), under you feet! The ground shook so much that it caused our wall to crumble to the ground!

Dulaque rolled his eyes.

Evil Rita landed next to the pillar, smiling devilishly, and growled, "It looks like dropping a barn on you didn't kill you. Pity; it looks like I'll have to dirty Rita's hands with blood again....."

For a split second, Evil Rita's eyes turned from black to brown, causing Rita to yell, "Stop her! ---k-k-kill m-m-meeeee......"

Rita's eyes turned black again as Evil Rita spoke, magic gathering at her fingertips, "Silly Rita won't be able to help you this time, Librarians!"

BAM!!!!

In a single magic blast, half of the Serpent Brotherhood members where disintegrated!

Nodding towards Jenkins and Clyde, I acted as their distraction so the 2 Immortals could sneak up on Evil Rita.

And what I mean by 'distraction', is I threw a Póke Ball at her and yelled, "Go Pikachu!"

I underestimated my strength, because when I threw my Póke Ball at her, it hit Rita (in her face) and caused her to fall over!

(Luke's face, exactly.)

Evil Rita got back up and screamed, "You will PAY for that!!!"

"Ritaaaaaaaa!" Jenkins called, causing Evil Rita to spin around and yell, "WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?"

"This." Clyde stated, holding up his closed fist, a ring on his finger.

The ring is called Solomon's Seal, a ring able to trap demons. And its pointing right at the immortal child!

Evil Rita's eyes widen as magic flowed out of the ring, grabbing both Rita's. Rita grabbed her head and stuttered, "G-get o-o-out o-of m-m-my h-he-head!"

Rita gritted her teeth as Evil Rita screamed, "No! My plans are not finished yet! I need more time---!" "You've had enough time in me!" Rita screamed, "I want you out of my head! I want you gone and I don't want to hear from y-you e-ever a-a-again!"

BOOM!!!!

Rita did a pushing motion away from her head and, as if she had pushed the Evil Rita, a Rita duplicate rolled onto the ground! Evil Rita screamed, "NO!!!!" and reached towards her good duplicate, even as the rings magic pulled her back.

Jenkins, a good size dark red crystal in his hands, declared, "It's time for you to go back where you belong, Raura!"

Wait... Raura? Who?

"Nooooooooo!!!!!"
'Raura' screamed as, bit by bit, she was sucked, literally sucked, into the crystal! For a split second, Evil Rita was able to grab Rita's arm, yelling, "I'll see you in Hell, Sister!"

Whaaaaaaaaaatttttttt.........

"How will I go to Hell, if I'm never gonna die?" Rita made a come back, then said, "From now on, I'm taking control over my life! Goodbye, Raura!"

Rita kicked her evil sister... still weirded out over here.... which caused Raura to fly into the crystal!

For a moment, we totally forgot about Dulaque or the Serpent Brotherhood as we introduced ourselves to the immortal child. But then, Dulaque stepped forward and said, "Perhaps we should make a truce..."

"You guys are going home?" Ezekiel asked, "AHHH, that's so nice!"

I face palmed.

"No," Dulaque growled, then calmed himself down and explained, "This spell affects us all, largely Galahad, Prince Claudin and I." Dulaque glared at Clyde, who decided that his shoes were much more interesting than the immortal in front of him.

"You mean that the Serpent Brotherhood won't tamper with the spell as long as the Library doesn't tamper with it?" Flynn Carson vertified.

"In a sense, yes," Dulaque agreed, saying, "This place would be a no-go for any surprise attacks...."

Rita, growing exhausted, stepped forward and said, "I can place a couple of spells around here, to protect this area from everyone...."

Rita literally fell asleep and slipped into my arms. Hey, I wasn't gonna let her fall on the ground! I held her bridal style as Dulaque stated, "That won't be nesessary; the spell protects itself."

Rita raised a thumbs up 👍 and fell asleep again.

I rolled my eyes, giggling gently.

Now I'm gonna have to carry Rita back to the Annex's Back Door.

Inwardly and outwardly, I groaned.

The Librarians and Serpent Brotherhood created a promise that day. As long as neither side tampered with the Spell of Immortality, Galahad, Prince Claudin, Rita, Lancelot and many more immortals would remain alive and safe....

For now......
