i yanked my hand from Harrys's large one and stopped walking.
"Harry" i said crossing my arms over my chest trying to sound as firm as possible even though i was scared to death.
"What?" he said looking back at me with furrowed brows.
"Where the hell are we and where are we going?" i asked as he kept glaring at me. I could tell he was getting annoyed but I didn't really care.
"just trust me I'm not going to hurt you just follow me." he said softening his tone and his gaze. He held out his hand again and I took it reluctanlty
We continued walking untill I heard the sound of waves crashing and i saw a cliff in front if me. I looked down and saw clear blue water below me.
I took in a deep breathe taking in the warm smell of the water. I turned and saw Harry sitting at the edge and watching the waves crash into the rocks below.
He didn't notice me sit next to him as he kept looking down. We sat there a while untill he broke the silence.
"You know i never caught you name sweetheart" he said still looking down at the water. He ran his fingers through his curls as if he were thinking of something.
"i-I'm Hailey." I said looking at him as a small smirk played on his lips.
"I don't think I've ever fucked a Hailey before." i looked at him with my mouth agape as he still watched the waves rise and crash against the rough rocks below. He really just said that? fuck him I can't believe i actually wanted this 'date'. I scoffed at him and stood up to leave.
"wait." he said as he quickly grabbed my wrist. The motion caught me off guard and i stumbled and fell over the cliff. I heard Harry mutter 'Shit' as i fell. My body was quickly enveloped in cold water around me.
I kicked harshly trying to get to the surface but my foot quickly caught on a rock. I started to panic and franticlly move my arms trying to un do my foot. Then i felt a splash next to me and saw Harry looking paniced. He quickly saw my situation and went to free my foot. He got it un stuck and wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me to the surface. He let go but I wasn't really the best swimmer and he saw me struggling. He quickly wrapped an arm around my waist again supporting my weight and swam us back to land.
I watched the small water droplets fall from his nose and curls that now stuck to his forehead as he sat on the beach with out a shirt. He must have taken it off before jumping in after me. I saw the many ink marks across his skin and I traced each line carefully with my eyes. I blushed as I him smirk and i knew he had seen me staring.
"like what you see?" he asked opening his arms and leaning back a little giving me full view of his tanned skin and muscles. I shook my head and stood up and started to walk in the direction of where the parking lot was. He quickly got up and followed behind trying to keep up.
He grabbed my wrist and spun me around to meet his gaze.
"Where are you going?" He asked furrowing his brow and leaning down so he was at my level.
"Home." i coldly responded.
He was a little taken back by my bluntness but his usual smirk returned quickly after.
"You're going to need my car sweetheart we're quite a ways from home." He said still smirking. God I really wish I could just smack it right off of his face. Yeah i know he just saved my life but he's been a real ass.
I turned and walked of quickly finding his car and sat in the passenger seat looking out the window waiting for him to get in and start the car. When he did he simply drove off and didn't say a word.
I watched as he tightly gripped the steering wheel but I'm not sure why. frustration? anger? I didn't give it much thought and waved it off. He drove back to the cafe and he stopped while parking his car next to mine. I reached for the door handle before I felt his hand grip mine. I turned and saw him looking at me in what i think was curiosity? He ginned and leaned in close to my ear
"see you around" He whispered raspily.
His cool breathe lingered and he gave me a peck on the cheek. I sat there frozen and just looked off in the distance. I quickly was pulled out of my trance and turned to open he door and closed it behind me swiftly.
I then got in my car and sat with my head aginst the steering wheel thinking for a while before starting my car and driving to my flat. The whole ride home I could still smell the scent of Harry everywhere. Peppermint and musky cologne. I took a shower when I got home trying to rid myself of it but for some reason it just wouldn't leave.
***Harrys pov***
I didn't get it most girls would be throwing themselves at me right now but she just was leaving and was going to be done with me.
I grabbed her hand as she reached for the door and she looked at me kind of annoyed. what? I thought for a minute and couldnt wrap my head around it. I smiled at her as if nothing was wrong and leaned in close to her. I saw her body tense up as my breath hit he warm skin
"See you around" i said before planting a kiss on her cheek. She seemed shocked at first and quickly got out and sat in her car for a few before driving off. I don't know what it was about this girl but I knew I wouldn't be forgetting about her for a while. I just had this urge to keep her from harm.
