Kylie

I just sat and stared at the door. I shouldn't have said that but I didn't expect it to anger him that much. Yes I'm mad. I don't like being treated like I'm not capable of doing anything. Or at least I was mad until he said I help because I care.... I went downstairs and straight to the training room. Kai already warned me if he found me training he was going to shackle me to the wall again. I don't really care. I went straight to the punching bag. At first it was just light jabs with my fists, not too much, but then as I kept progressing I started to pick up speed of the punches, of the force. I spun and did a kick, where most opponents faces would be. There was a tight yank and then pain shot through my abdomen. I yelped and crumpled to the floor. I look down to wear my palms now covered my abdomen and removed them slowly. All I saw was blood. I ripped out the stitches.

"God dammit Kylie." Kai spoke in a soft deadly tone. "I warned you." He grabbed me by the wrist and slowly helped me up. He took me to the medical tent and chained me to a pole by a cot instead of a wall. "Why didn't you listen to me," he spoke quietly. It always scared me when he did that. I looked down at the floor.

"I needed to get some anger out." I said

"Why." He said. His tone forced me to look at him. I knew if I didn't he would have made me anyways.

"Because I had a fight."

"Of course you did." He chuckled, his eyes softening. "I'll go get Wes." With that he turned and walked out. A couple minutes later Wes emerged through the curtain with a case of supplies in his hand. He looked at the handcuffs and laughed. "Disobeyed him again did you?" He asked lightly chuckling under his breath.

"Why not," I replied quietly.

"At least you're not dead yet." Wes replied. He pulled up my shirt to where the wound was and covered it with some sort of gooey ointment to numb it a little bit. He pulled out the needle and string to stitch the wound back together. My body tensed. I hate needles, I always have. "Don't worry" he said lightly touching my shoulder and giving it a small squeeze, "I'm not going to hurt you, that's what the ointment is for. If you tense up then it probably will hurt." I relaxed, or at least tried to. He began to stitch it back up, being as precise as possible. "You need to be more careful," he whispered, a worried look growing in his eyes. He's always been like that. Worried ever since the murders. I don't blame him, I mean at the time he was my personal guardian, I guess he still sorta sees himself as mine.

"Sorry," I said sarcastically. He looked up and met my eyes.

"I'm serious." he said and slowly started stitching the wound again.

Finn

It's been a week since I walked out of Kylie's house. I got a text not to long ago from her. I was deciding if I should check it or not. My curiosity got the best of me and I finally checked it a few hours later. It wasn't from Kylie though.

Meet me at the base in one hour. We have to set up a few things. ~Kai

With that I got up out of bed, forced myself to get dressed, and then headed off towards the base.

I expected Kylie to answer her door when I arrived. Instead it was Kai once again.

"We could build another house onto the base," he said casually, "or you could just move in with one of the residents now."

"Do I have to make a decision now?" I asked.

"End of the day," he replied. "We'll finish up this stuff later. I figured you would like to see Kylie."

"Where is she?" I asked trying to not sound too worried.
