Mom just stood there.
“Mom.”
“I don’t know what to say.” We stood there in silence.
“Ok.” I looked up, confused. Did she just say Ok?
“You can’t control who you fall in love with.” She smiled. Fall in love? Is it love? I just smiled and hugged her.
“Mom thanks so much.”
“No doing anything I don’t approve of since you live under the same roof.” I smiled.
“Ok.” she exited the room. I smiled and gave Matthew a big hug.
