With Annie's threat still vivid in her mind, Celeste was the last to leave instead staying back to watch everyone get into their rides and drive off in all different directions. Stepping forward to the curb, the very last midnight black limo pulled up beside her, the driver getting out and giving her a small bow holding the door open.

She didn't need to be babied and let out an irritated sigh, seating herself in the dark interior of the car. Lights ran along the roof and the floor, casting a very soft light upon the inside she had all to herself. Despite the heaters and the heated seat that the finest technology had to offer, she still shuddered casting a glance around at every empty corner of the vehicle.

She had never felt so alone.

Despite the sudden tiredness pulling down at her eyelids and the soothing lights offering a peaceful sleep on the squishy and cushioned seats, Celeste shuffled up to where the driver would be before knocking on the dark glass that seperated them.

It rolled down smoothly and it was only then that she realised they were actually moving; it had been so smooth the whole time.

'Hello,' Celeste said with a small smile, resting her chin on where the window had rolled down and absentmindedly contemplating what would happen if it rolled back up.

But the driver still stared forward, his strong jaw set and eyes fixated on the cars he was overtaking. Celeste frowned, eyeing the man for a moment before turning her attention to the road staring in awe and a little bit of embarassment as she realised that the cars were moving out of the way of the high speed vehicle.

'Please talk to me,' she whined, her voice bordering on desperation. 'Why are the cars moving out of the way?'

The drivers mouth relaxed and he let a small smile, still not looking at the possible future queen. 'I'm sorry miss,' he chuckled, 'we've had direct orders not to speak to you. But you're a queen now; your orders override that. The cars are moving out of the way because we're important, didn't you know?'

Celestre frowned, brow furrowing and lips turning down in distaste. She suddenly had all this power? It wasn't usual; she had lived alone with a few fish and struggled to pay the power bill every month and suddenly she was driving around in fast limos and watching the crowd part in front of her? They even sped straight through the traffic lights but no-one seemed to mind.

'That's total bullshit,' Celeste huffed, her eyes narrowing. 'Can't you make them go about their normal business? I don't want to hinder anyone daily routine, I'm not in any hurry, really.'

'I can't make them stop, miss, I'm sorry. It's law now, you need to move for the limos or it's a pretty big fine,' the driver said, shaking his head slightly as if he didn't agree with it either. But before Celeste could interupt he continued, jumping in before she could object even further. 'Miss, I don't think you see. They don't mind moving out of the way; it's a few minutes of their lives that they would be happy to give to their future leaders. You are the becon of hope now and everyone will do anything if it means the illusion of safety.'
