-Rosie-

I running my brush though my hair when there was a knock on the door. "Come in." I said and sat my brush down.

A guard walk in. "Prince Alexander has requested you to join him in his room before the feast." He said. I breathed a sigh in irritation. "How am i going to get ready if I'm in his room?" I asked the guard.

"Prince Alexander said he has everything you need in his room." The guard said. "Well he has everything planed out doesn't he." I said as i stood up.

I followed the guard to Alexander room.

As we got there there was maids going in and out of his room. The guard held open the door for me as i walked in. He then bowed and left. I turned to see Alexander sitting in chair with a glass.

"Well, i thought you were going to put up more of a fight not to come here." He said with a cocky smile.

I gave him a smirk. "Well i didn't want to keep the Prince waiting, because we all know about what happen last time someone kept him waiting." His eyes narrowed.

He quckily stood up. "You have an hour to get ready." He said and pushed pass me. Once he left a couple of maids came into help me get ready.

After my bath i sat in front of the mirror as one of the maids ran a brush through my hair. It was strange to me because i was so used to doing this for Sofia and doing my hair by myself.

They left my hair down, and put in a pearl headband. Another thing i have never worn. They pulled me to my feet and help me into the under slip for my dress.

One of the maids was lacing up the back as the door opened again. I glared over my shoulder knowing it was Alexander.

I ignored him as one of the maids pulled out a dress for the chest in front of us. I gasp when I saw the dress. It was beautiful.

The color was a dark purple. It was off the shoulder, and sleeves that draped down to the elbow. The top part had ruffles. There was a leather belt that went around the waist. Then the bottom floated to the floor.

"I knew you would like the dress, i notice you were drawn to this dress when you went you were looking though the booths this afternoon." Alexander said.

I huffed and turn back around. I saw him smile in the mirror and sat down. The maids pulled the dress over my head and laced the back up.

After they were done they bowed and left. Alexander stood up and lead me by my elbow to a table to the left.

"You can chose anything you want to wear." He said and open a huge box that was setting there. The box was full of jewelry. I couldn't help the way my eyes lit up at the jewelry.

As I slid a couple of rings onto my fingers, I couldn't help but wonder who's jewelry i was putting on.

"Who's jewelry is this?"I asked Alexander.

"It's my mothers" he said.

As he said that I froze. " I'm putting on the queens jewelry?" I turn and asked him.

He gave me a confused look."The late queen, yes, does that offend you?"

It was my turn to be confused. " The late queen?" I asked.

"Yes there was my mother, the late queen, then there's my step-mother, the queen now." Alexander said.

"I'm sorry I didn't know."I said and turn back to putting on jewelry.

Once I was done I walked over to Alexander. He turned and looked me over.

"You look just as beautiful as her." He said and laced my arm through his.

I blushed at his comment but let him lead me out of the room and down to the great hall.
