-Rosie-

“There she is, she finally coming around!” A voice said from above me. My eyes slowly flutter open to see Sofia, Nina, Veronica, and Scarlet leaning over me. “Hello sleeping beauty.” Nina said with a small smile. I glared as her and stretched my arms. “What happen?” I asked as I pulled myself into a sitting potion.

“Well, you fainted because a dead girl ran into you.” Veronica said. “Veronica!” Scarlet scolded. “No, no, no it’s okay.” I told her. I shook my head to rid of the memory’s that started to surface. “You okay?” Sofia asked as she laid a comforting hand on my arm. “Yea, where’s Alexander?” I ask them. “We sent him away a soon as everything calmed down in the castle.” Nina said. I raise an eyebrow at her, “Sent him away?” I asked.

She just shrugged a shoulder, “More like pushed him out of the room, then locked the door so he wouldn’t be able to come back in.” She finished calmly. I couldn’t help the giggles that bubbled on my lips. I let Sofia and Veronica help me stand up and over to the tub. After that I pushed them away and told them to carry on with their day. I stepped into the tub filled with bubbles and relaxed.

As my body soaked I laid my head against the edge of the tub and closed my eyes. At first it was blank but slowly memories came to surface. My face pinched as I remember my sister to be the first to scream. She was sitting right next to me, I turned and saw her white dress slowly become red. Next was her husband sitting next to her, his shirt slowly becoming red. I got up from the table and ran. I skidded to a stop when I saw the shadow in front of me, “You shouldn’t run from you fate, Rosie!” It yelled.

My eyes shot open and I gasp as I felt someone shaking me. My wide eye turn to look into Alexander’s green ones. He sat back onto his heels with a sigh, “Don’t ever do that to me again.” He said. That’s when I notice two things. One that I was still naked in the tub. Two that all the bubbles had disappeared. I gasped and sat up, quickly drawing my legs up to my chest.

“What are doing here!?” I screeched at him. I could feel the heat flooding my face. “Saving your life that is what I was doing! You were two seconds from drowning!” He yelled back. I could see the distress edged into his face. I kept one arm wrapped around my breasts, and lifted the other hand to cup his face. “I’m fine, still alive and breathing. Now can you go other there so I can get dress?” I said. He sighed and rolled his eyes but did what I asked.

I stood up and shook some of the water. I grabbed the linen next to the tub and dried myself off and quickly made my way behind the room divider. “How is everyone from last night?” I asked as I grabbed my shift that was thrown over the top of the divider. “Shaken up for the most part, my father has his best men going through the castle to find the murder.” Alexander said. “And the girl’s family?”

I stepped into the undergarment and tugged it up. “Thankfully it seems she didn’t have any kin…Would you like some help?” I let out a sigh and let my head fall forward, “If you would please.” I pulled my hair to the side as Alexander walked up behind me He grabbed the laces and laces them up, he even manger to finish it off with a bow. “Thank you, now shoo.” I said and push him away. I pulled the other dress down and stepped into it. Thankfully this one didn’t any help.

I stepped out from behind the divider and walked over to the dresser and picked up my brush. I turn and saw that Alexander was still in my chambers. “I thought you left.” I told him with a point look. “Cant a gentleman check on a lady to make sure she is okay?” He said and made his way over to me. I turn to brush my hair in the mirror. “Yes they can, but I already told I was fine. So know you can leave and go find someone else to bother.” I told him and sat my brush down.
