The Wrong Girl

Chapter Six

-Sophia-

We took our seats at the kings table. The queen smiled and nodded a hello to me. I saw her look around the table as if she was looking for someone.

"Who are you looking for?" i asked her. "Well it seems you are missing one of your ladies in waiting." She said. I nodded my head. "I know, Rosie will be here in a minute." i told her.

She gave me an unsure look but nodded her head okay.

As the king come over and sat down, the doors to the great hall opened. We all gasped at how beautiful Rosie looked.

Prince Alexander lead her over to our table. The Queen made a sound of disagreement as i stood up and moved around the table to sit next to Scarlet, so Rosie and Alexander could sit together.

I notice the Queen glaring at Rosie as she down at the table. I moved my gaze to king to see what he thought. He had a smile on his face as he studyed Alexander and Rosie.

Rosie blushed as Alexander leaned down to whisper something in her ear.

"Let the feast begin!" The king shouted. Everyone cheered and clapped as servents brought out plates full with food and glasses filled with wine.

I begin to eat as soon as a plate was set in front of me. "This is so good!" I heard Veronica say as she took a bite. I nodded my head in agreement.

As everyone was finishing up the first course, a guard came over and whisper something to the king. The king nodded his head. " Of course bring them in!" He said.

As the doors opened again everybody turned to see who they were.

I froze when I saw the man at the front of the group.

He walked over and bowed to the king. " Thank you my lord for inviting us to stay here." He said.

"No problem, Prince Casimir, it wonderful to have you here! Please why don't you have a seat next to Queen Sophia?" The king said.

Casimir eyes shot up to mine as the king said that. He gave me a smile.

"Thank you again." He said and sat next me.

He leaned over and whispered in my ear "Gotcha yea!"
