The Wrong Girl

Chapter Two

It didn't take us long to make our was to the throne room. The Guards at the door bowed and open the doors for us. The King and Queen sat on their thrones, and were whispering to each other but stoped when we walked in. 

We all bowed as we stood in front of them. "Ah, Queen Sofia, I haven't seen you since you were 12 years old." The queen said.

"Its good to see you to, my lady." Sofia said. We took the seats on the rights and watch as the queen and king went through pleads.

During the middle, the doors open and everyone stood and bowed. "Why are they bowing?" Scarlet whispered to me. I shrugged my shoulders and stood up with everyone else. 

"You finally decided to join us, I see." The king said. The man smirk. "Late start this morning." He said causally. The king sighed.

"Queen Sofia and Ladies, This is Prince Alexander." The King said. I saw Sofia pale, and Nina put her arms up to stop her from falling.

"Alexander, This is your fiance, Queen Sofia." The King said. I hooked my arm though Sofias to keep her steady.

The prince walk over to us and grabbed Sofia's hand. "Pleasure to see you again, Sofia." He said and leaned over to kiss her hand. As he raise his head, his eyes collide with mine. 

I blushed when his eyes looked me over. I let my hair fall and create a veil between us. 

"Why don't you take Sofia around the castle, Alexander?" The queen said. He turned and smiled at the Queen. "Why don't I." He said and pulled Sofia out of the room. 

"You girls go outside and enjoy the Harvest festival." The King said. We bowed and left quickly. 

As we walked outside, me and Veronica said goodbye to Nina and Scarlet and headed towards the lake were a girl was giving flowers out.

Me and Veronica stuck the flowers in our hair to make crowns. We looked in the Mirror the girl had and laughed at how girly we looked.

As we walked toward the barn where everyone seemed to be going, Veronica saw Sofia. She Grabbed my arm and pulled me to a stop. "Look there's Sofia, But wheres  Alexander?" Veronica said.

We both looked around but didn't see him. "Well lets go over there to see if shes okay." I said. Veronica nodded her head in agreement.

We stopped next to the blanket where Sofia was sitting. "Do you mind if we join you?" I asked. Sofia turned and saw us and patted the spot next to her. When we sat down Veronica looked around.

"Wheres Alexander?" She asked.

Sofia smirked. "He told me when we got outside that it wasnt going to work, and then he left."

"Well i guess you got what you wanted, but what are you going to do about the marriage proposal?" I asked.

"Alexander said he would take care of it." She said with a shrug. "Wait if he left, where did you get the flowers?" Veronica said. "The girl gave it to me when i passed by." She said but wouldn't meet our eyes.

"That's a lie the girl was just setting up when we walked out." I said.

Sofia huffed."Fine, a man gave it to me right before you got here." She said.

Mine and Veronica's eyes lit up. "Some one fancy's our Queen." Veronica said. We all dissolved into a fit of giggles.
