* gives mason a hug *
mason's mum: so what are you doing here?
mason's older brother: i was out of town and realized the house was pretty close around
mason's mum: that's great
* walks in *
mason's dad: what a pleasant surprise!
* hugs each other *
beatrice: um, excuse me?
* everyone looks at beatrice *
mason's older brother: well who are you? i haven't seen you before
beatrice: back at you stranger
* stands behind mason *
mason's older brother: it's okay i'm not scary
beatrice: are you sure about that?
mason's mum: beatrice that's matt, mason's brother
mason's older brother: it's nice to meet you
beatrice: speak for yourself
* runs back to the living room *
mason: don't worry about her, she still hates me too
* follows beatrice *
mason's older brother: something tells me she doesn't like me
mason's mum: she has reason
mason's older brother: excuse me?

mason's dad: okay we should go and eat, you hungry?
