Mason
The place is packed.
With good reason, the burgers here can only be truly described with strange noises.
I can smell it from the back of this long ass line. The smell is also mixed with B.O and baby vomit due to the people in the line. Appetizing.
I go on my phone and decide to give good ol' Beatrice a call, maybe she'll actually tell me where she is. She could be a secret agent... nah, she's too unfit for that.
"Yo"
"Ah nothing, I'm just calling"
"Where are youuuu?"
"That's real funny"
"I'm on the moon"
"Yeah, I guess we're both pretty funny"
"Fine, bye"
I hang up and put my phone away.
Finally, the line is moving. That lady at the front was taking forever, going on and on about her different allergies. I have never heard of anybody that was allergic to only the juices of the tomato and not the whole thing.
After the lady has left the line starts moving a little faster.
Yessssssss, I'm getting there.
Food food food,
food food,
food food food food.
Food food food,
food foo-Is that...
"Beatrice?" She turns around and her face appears to heat up.
"H-hey" She replies, looking at the guy she's with and back at me. "Um right. Mason, Will, Will, Mason"
"Hey man" I wave at him slightly.
"Hi" He replies casually.
"So. Coincidence, right?" I chuckle awkwardly.
"Major one" Will says.
The silence is real.
"Can you please go?" Beatrice whispers.
"Only if you tell me the gory details next time you come to my house" I whisper back.
"Deal"
"Well then, I'll leave you two crazy kids to it" I smile. "Nice meeting you"
Beatrice is on a date.
I'm guessing.
Wow, she's- wow.
I think I've seen that guy at a party.Wow.
Aannddd, I've lost my spot in the line.
Damn.
