Chapter3- I really have a mate

* Kayla Hunter's POV *

I opened my eyes slowly and closed then before blinking rapidly trying to get used to it. I look over to see this gorgeous man but only saw half of his face. I breath in the is amazing scent. Then this voice said 'mate'. I don't have one remember. Just then doctors came in and started taking my tubes out of my throat but kept my IV and heart Moderator. This guy handed me a water and I felt shocks come threw me as his fingers brunch my skin slightly. I drunk the water greedily.

"W-who are you." I said hoarsely

"Alex Carter and I'm your mate." He said

"I don't have a mate my dad said he is gone." All of a sudden I felt sadness at my words.

"I'm here though aren't I." He whispered in my ear.

I then got up and jumped on him. Tingles shot threw my body and it was so powerful. I looked into his green eyes and instantly I fell in love with them. He touched my face and I purred at his touch. He seemed shocked and I don't know why.

"I thought you were human." He said

"I am" I stated

"I have to go." He said and I instantly got upset. I got off and he ran to the door.

I don't think he likes me. I thought.

"Of course he likes us." A female voice said inside my head.

"Who are you." I responded

"I am your wolf, Diamond."

Oh shit that's pretty neat lets talk.

"Okay." She said

* Alex Carter's POV *

I ran out the door so I could get some answers from her brother. Does she not know things like about our kind. She purred how if she is human she can try but that sounded wolf like. I walked into Austin's room and close the door.

"Is everything okay?" He asked

"I need the story, is she a werewolf like you and how does she not know?" I asked frustrated

"Oh well she is a full werewolf but I'm half, that's because my dad got drunk one night and had sex with a human well later that year he got a call from her saying she is now 5 months pregnant and she couldn't take care of me so my dad took me and then he found his mate and that's how Kayla was born. One day Kayla and my dad got in a argument and my dad said "Well your mate is dead so good luck in falling in love." And when he said that he fainted and after she got home from the hospital she wasn't the same, it's like her wolf locked herself away and she forgot about everything I would hear her cry every night and she wouldn't eat much and I tried to help her but she wouldn't let me so I gave her some space her and after about 3 months she made some friends and was actually happy, that's basically all." He said  and I nodded my head.

"Thanks." I said

"Anytime man." Austin said

Just then the pack Doctor came in and said "She is shifting she needs you." He was panicking I can tell but I ran out the door and followed her scent.

* Kayla Carter's POV *

I felt so much pain. But then a bone broke out of place and was bending in unnatural ways and I was screaming in agony. Just then doctors ran in and saw the state I was in. I wanted comfort and for some reason I wanted Alex.

"Oh shit she is shifting." The lead doctor said

"GET HER OUTSIDE NOW." He yelled

I was soon carried out of bed and they set my down softly on the ground. I let out another scream as both of my legs did twist and turns. Just then the lead Doctor ran away but why. Minutes later Alex was right beside me.

"Alex help me please." I begged with tears streaming down my face.

"I am so so sorry you have to go through this but I can't it will be over soon."

I then felt my spine twist and screamed out the loudest and i didn't even notice the large crowd  forming. I looked at my arm and there was hair out of my skin. Just then I felt all the pain go away and all the memories came back like about mates,alphas, and werewolf. If your mate if a alpha then you have white fur. I looked at my paws and saw white fur. I really do have a mate and Alex is mine. Alphas have black fur though. I turned my head and saw a black wolf.  Everyone cheered while people were saying "We finally have a Luna." And "She is so beautiful." I felt pride and I didn't know why.
