chapter nine : getting adopted

i woke before madam pompfrey the next morning , so i just sat there and watched the sun rise thinking about how lucky me and sirius were, we almost died. well he came close to it and i very nearly did die.

" its beautiful isnt it?" sirius said right beside me, scaring the crap out of me.

"oh my gosh uncle sirius i asked you not to do that!" i groaned making him laugh. " its very beautiful. i cant believe i never see this. "

" you dont get up early enough." he said putting his hand on my shoulder " it was a close one a couple weeks ago.

" we got lucky.  " i said looking at the scarred words on my arms

" dont almost die on me again young lady  " he said sternly

" i'll try not to "  i said giving him a slight smile

" seriously dont scare e like that again. rachel, you and harry are my world. i dont know what i would do if i lost either of you.  and with you and harry's affinity for almost dying , im going to have a really short life." he said shaking his head.

" your free to go dear." madam pomfrey said after changing the bandages.

" now mr black these bandages need to be changed twice daily. when she gets up and when she goes to bed.  it does need to be taken off for  two hours in between so it can breath . " she said

" how long do i do that for?" he asked

" until it heals, the wounds close up. it will scar theres nothing we can to to stop that, but put this salve on it with the bandages , will help the healing process and keep it from getting infected. when it heals put this cream on it. " she said and sirius looked overwhelmed

" thank you miss i think we understand what to do, thank you for everything. " i said gingerly getting up.

" lets get your things packed and get rachel, you two can come home with me instead of riding the train since you go home today" he said

" alrighty lets go " i said and we silently walked to the tower, appreciating  all the views and grandness of the castle.

" ahh good to see you back and healthy miss snape. "the fat lady said.

" actually make that black" i said giving sirius a small smile  . the fat lady  gave us a big smile and opened up . 

" go wake up rachel and get your stuff together" he said standing by the fire.

" alright " i said and went up the stairs two at a time .

" rachel, rachel! wake up uncle sirius wants us to go. " i said gently waking rachel up

" right right im up im  up. "   she said groggy. i waved  my wand and an outfit for both of us was on our beds  . i waved my wand again and   my stuff was in my trunk. me and  rachel went into the bathroom , her to take a shower and me to fix my hair and make up . i waved my wand and my hair was curly and my make up was immaculate.  i then let her shower in peace and  went back to the adjoined dorm room where ginny and chloe were waking. i slipped out of the clothes i wore to the ministry , put them in a small compartment in my trunk away from the clean clothes  . i put on a bright pink lacy bra and panty set that was too small due to my development over the year. I then put on pink shorts that went to mid thigh , a black tank top that was slightly snug and i slipped on my xx high pink high tops sighing i closed my trunk as rachel came in and finished drying off.

" so you two are leaving early?" ginny asked

" yeah sirius was here when i was released from the hospital wing  and he decided that he would take us home instead of making us ride the train. " i said shrugging. 

" alright well we will see you some time this summer then" chloe said

" alright love you two " me and rachel said hugging them before grabbing our trunks and running down the stairs

" Hi daddy " rachel squealed   and launched herself into his arms.

"  hey sweetie , well lets head home then" he said

" c-can i meet you in dumbledores office? i wanna said bye to draco" i said biting my lip.

" of course . you have fourty minutes " he said taking my trunk.

" oh thankyou " i said and took off running despite it hurting my shoulder and arms i found him ten minutes later as he was heading to the great hall for breakfast , giggling i grabbed his arm and pulled him into an empty classroom  and locked the door.

" what is all this about ash?" he asked curious.

" uncle sirius is taking me and rachel home early and he gave me fourty minutes with you before we leave so we now have twenty five  minutes left " i said slightly rushed  and in turn he smirked at me   closing the distance with our mouths followed by twenty minutes of bliss. but in our lust induced haze we forgot the contraception spell. but then we didnt know that.

" I'll miss you draco" i said giving him a gentle kiss.

" i'll miss you too ash.  " he said hugging me close to him. " i love you , dont be late for your deadline"

"i love you too draco " i said and took off to the headmasters office meeting up with them on the way. 

" have fun?" he asked " what did you do"

" yes i did and we sat and talked about school and everything in between" i said ten minutes later we were home and unpacking  our trunks. when rachel finished with hers she skipped to my room

" okay dear. tell me the scoop. i know you didnt just sit and talk. " she said after she shut the door. i didnt answer just blushed " did you at least remember the spell    "

" uh" i said eyes wide

" ASH" she said  really upset.

" im sorry i know you told me never to forget" i said worried

" you dont understand you could get pregnant" she whispered

" from that one time forgetting?" i asked eyes wide.

" all it takes is one time ash.  " she said " its okay lets not freak youll be okay"

" right" i said but  something felt like i  wouldn't be.

the day passed fast and later that night was an order meeting , which of course we werent allowed  to attend. it was over at ten and i managed to stop snape.

" what do you want ashlynn." he snarled

" i want you to give up all rights to me.  "  i said.

" why would i do that " he asked

" because you dont  want me , in fact you completely and utterly hate me. so stop hurting me and just sign your rights away." i said

" fine. " he snarled and signed  the papers throwing them at me. before he stalked out the door.

" that went easy" professor dumbledore said appearing with adoption papers and handed them to uncle sirius who promptly signed them.  " congratulations sirius." he said and left.

" now off to bed with you.. " he said i hugged him and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
