I couldn't do this for much longer.
Rowan and I have been running for hours on end. Even though my fae body could handle it, and could go on for a lot longer, I just couldn't do it. I was starving, and tired. After we sparred, Rowan insisted we ran, since we haven't for a while. I knew something was nagging at him, but I isn't push it. I was curious to know what it was, but I already had a few guesses. It probably had something to do with his little promise. I knew he probably wasn't ready, so I would wait. We had eternity, so I could wait.
I finally decided to stop. I could barely move my legs. I stopped at a tree, my breath labored. I was leaning against the tree for support.
"I...can't..go another... step." I said in between pants.
"Back to our old, whiny self I see." Rowan said as he stopped, but I could see that he was panting too.
"Yes. I'm starving, and not to mention, still exhausted from sparring." I snapped at him.
"Easy fireheart, I was teasing you!"He exclaimed.
"Stupid buzzard." I muttered.
Suddenly I was pushed up against the tree I was leaning on. I felt Rowan pin my hands above my head.
"What was that?" He whispered by my ear.
I tried to respond, but it was muffled when Rowan pressed his lips against mine. At first I hesitated, but I quickly gave in and kissed him back.
"I said, 'stupid buzzard', you deaf buffoon."
Rowan chuckled softly and broke the kiss. Then, he bit my neck with so much possessiveness I gasped.
"Next time you call me that, this will seem like a warm up." He softly said as he began to run his hands down my back. I shivered at the roughness of his touch, but I didn't want it to stop. I looked into Rowans eyes and found sheer hunger there, hunger for me. I blushed, which made Rowan smile, his teeth glistening with my blood.
Suddenly, Rowan pushed off of me, and looked up alert. I looked around to see what was wrong, but then everything went black.
~Rowans Pov~
I woke up with a extreme headache. I felt my head and found dried blooded caked onto it. I looked around, and panicked when I saw Aelin chained to a chair across the room. I tried to speak, but my throat was so dry I couldn't. I didn't see anyone else, so I wasn't able to know who did this.
5 minutes later
I watched as Aelin slowly opened her eyes, and as she looked over herself, looked at the iron that was all over her, at the blanket that was wrapped all around her, and as her eyes started to show off her panic. I called her name, my voice scratchy and barely audible, and she looked up, and became more panicked. We were both in iron, so our powers were useless. Whoever did this knew what they were doing. Iron may stifle our magic, but keeping us apart in this situation, making it practically impossible to calm each other, was the worst punishment.
Aelin started to cry, and it broke my heart having to watch her and not be able to help her.
"Fire..heart.. It will be.. O..k" I try to say, but my throat was now burning.
"No it won't. You always say that, but this time it won't." She said, her voice not scratchy.
Maybe whoever did this wanted her to watch me suffer, which would make her suffer more.
Suddenly, someone opened a door, and a masked man walked in.
"Well, well, what do we have here? It seems as though my guests have awaken. Good, I was starting to think you guys were dead." The mystery person said, their voice cold and harsh.
"Who are you and why are you doing this." Aelin asked, her voice betraying her as it began to shake in fear.
I watched in agony as the person walked up to Aelin and ran a rough finger down her face.
"Hush darling, patience is the key to you both staying alive." They said.
Two more people walked in, and when all three of them were standing in the middle of the room, they took off their masks.
"T..Tern? H..ha..Harding? Mul...lin? What are you guys doing?" Aelin asks, and I can see the shock and confusion written all over her face.
"It seams that you haven't kept up much of your training, since we caught you guys easily," Mullin said, " unless that little tree scene is what you consider training."
I growled at him. I wanted to rip his throat out so bad. He was basically asking for it the way he was talking.
"Answer my question." Aelin said, steading her voice.
"Oh, the usual. We just want some fun," Mullin replied with a evil grin "Since you had so much fun making us all pay for the guild, we decided to have some fun too."
"My court will find you. They will be here any second, and they will kill you." Aelin shouted at them.
"Oh, not a chance in hell fireheart." Harding said.
I growled at him, more vicious than the last one.
"Oh what a lovely nickname. I shall enjoy this so much" Harding smiled.
"Alright you big blabber mouths, let's have some fun." Tern scoffed.
He walked over to Aelin and took off the blanket. I stared mortified when I noticed she was completely naked, and my eyes shone in horror wen I realized what 'fun' meant.
Tern started to reach towards her, and that's when all hell started.

Hello! Boy, do I love to leave cliffhangers. This was a long story, O,o
Most of my stories are kinda short so this took a bit to write. I will be making longer updates to make up for all that missing time.
Well, anyways, thanks for reading, please comment and vote, and also please check out my new story Undoubtable, who is is about a girl who just turned 16 and is on a journey through dating. It would mean a lot to me.
See ya'll in my next chapter.
