I feel awful for letting the story go! I was just really busy with personal things. Forgive me?

Chapter 5- Picnics and Meetings-3 Weeks Later-
It had been three weeks since Ciel had even attempted to see me. Every time I had gone to his manor one of his servants always said he was out. I was starting to get irritated.
"Marie, prepare the carriage," I said, sighing. "I wish to go to the park." She nodded and left. I was dressed in a rather simple riding dress today, a forest green one with dark brown accents and gloves. My hair was in its usual state, each pigtail ending in a corkscrew curl.
"Mistress, it is ready." I stood up and followed Marie out to the carriage. We climbed in and then we were off. I tried to compose myself. Whenever I was in public, I was always seen with a smile.
The carriage came to halt and I leapt down lightly. "Marie, come on!" I called with fake excitement. She followed and I began walking around the park. There were a lot of children, accompanied by their parents. There were also many couples having picnics on the bank of the river.
I made my way to a field of deep blue flowers that reminded me of my necklace. As I bent down to pick some, I was pushed over. Falling unceremoniously on my rump, I was entangled with the person. It was a girl my age, with blonde hair and green eyes. She was vaguely familiar, but I couldn't remember where from.
"I am so sorry," she spluttered, getting up and brushing off her orange and yellow dress. "I was just excited to come and see the flowers. My fiancé said I could even make rings for him." I stood up as well, fixing my skirt.
"It's fine," I said, smiling politely. "No harm was done." She examined my face. She was uncomfortably close to me.
"Hey, you're that girl who Ciel was talking to! The viscount of Druitt's guest!" she exclaimed. It was then that I remembered who she was. This was Elizabeth, Ciel's fiancée.
"Yes I am. My name is Alexandra. Pleased to meet you, Lady Elizabeth," I said, curtsying politely. She curtsied as well, then clapped her hands in excitement.
"You're so pretty," she sang, and I blushed. "Alexandra, are you here with your fiancé as well?" I shook my head quickly.
"Oh gosh no. I'm not engaged," I explained. Her face crumpled in confusion. At our age, girls were typically already engaged and waiting to marry.
"Why not?" she asked. "You seem like a lovely person, so who wouldn't propose to you?" she asked.
"You're too kind, Lady Elizabeth," I said. "But I seem to be too much for a boy to handle. There have been a few suitors, but they leave as quickly as they come."
"That's sad," she clucked sympathetically. "So you're alone today then?" I nodded after a moment of hesitation. She grabbed my hand. "Then come with me! I'm sure Ciel would be delighted to see you. You can spend the day with us." It was my turn to splutter.
"Oh no, I couldn't-" she cut me off with a giggle. I looked desperately at Marie, who was trailing behind us. She shrugged her shoulders and I huffed.
We reached the picnic blanket where Ciel was sitting, examining some papers. Sebastian saw me, and immediately his eyes grew a bit bigger. Without looking up from his papers, Ciel said, "Elizabeth, are you back so soon from the field? I thought you were going to make crowns and rings."
"I told you to call me Lizzy! And I met someone in the field, Ciel," Elizabeth said excitedly. "It's your friend, Alexandra." Ciel's head snapped up in horror, his eye wide. I could see that he was scared at how angry I would be over the fact that he has ignored me.
