Alexis Pov
I quickly turned off all the lights and grabbed a knife. I called my parents but they weren't picking up! I go to turn on the storage light to find a torch when the power went out.
"shit" I whispered.
I turned the light on and went to my bedroom upstairs.
*Bang* the front door was flung open, someone is down stairs. I shaked so much I dropped the torch. the foot steps got louder and closer. I opened my window until the door was bashed open. I saw someone is a black goodie with a knife!
"Help!!" I yelled out. the person put a finger on its mouth to signal me to be quiet. it came closer I got ready to jump on the tree outside when a sharp object sliced against my leg.
"AHHH!" I yelled . I woke up and realized it was just a dream. I sat up and flopped my legs on the side of the bed. something shines under my bed, so I crouched down to grab it, it was a knife just like the one from my dream. I stood up in fear *buzz buzz* I check my phone:

i didn't get it until i checked my leg
"what how ?!?" my leg was bleeding. It only now started to ache. I tip toed down stairs into the kitchen where we also kept the medical stuff. I put some cream stuff on which stung and then I wrapped my leg in a bandage. I went back into my room and cried
"Why me? What did I do to deserve this?!?" Tears rolled down my face. I whisper into my pillow
"I want this to stop....".
