I waited in the hallway as my diamond talked to pink diamond. I looked next to me to see pink diamond's pearl, she had short pink hair and her gem on her navel. Behind me stood a quartz soldier guarding pink diamond's throne room where my diamond was. The guard was a rose quartz unlike anyother, she had pink curly hair and a white bodysuit with a seethrough skirt, she had black eyes that seemed to hypnotize me. I got so lost in the quartz's appearence that I didn't realize thst she was looking back at me. I flinched and looked away. I heard a soft giggle come from behind me and I knew it was the rose quartz. I felt a light tap on my shoulder, I looked behind me and saw... the quartz gem? Why was she away from her post? Why was she speaking to me? Why wa-. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt myself fall to the ground, something I had never done before. "Oh, are you alright?", said the quartz, reaching her hand out to me. I blushed and looked at her, her voice was so soft and femenine, she was so beatiful. I took her hand and she helped me up. "I should return to my post, but white diamond will be talking to pink diamond often", the rose quartz looked at me kindly, I blushed and giggled. The soldier waved me goodbye, then returned to her post. This felt like the start of something new.
