My diamond waited in her pelinquin with me for the next gem for today, she was on a mission to help with the colonisation of this strange new planet. I was suprised when I heard we were going  to be traveling for a couple of weeks, my diamond was not much of a travel gem. She would usually stay at the palace working from home, I woudn't get to see much of the galaxy like other diamond pearl's. But I could not let this distract me, I should feel lucky to belong to white diamond. She is one of the most important gems on homeworld. As I stood next to my diamond in the silver pelinquin I expected yet another important aristocrat to enter through the thin curtians but after a moment, there was nobody here. "Pearl.", said my diamond in a commanding voice. "Go tell the crowd that we are ready for our next visitor.", she hissed those last words. I nodded slightly before walking to the curtains. I knew that once I left the presence of my diamond I would not be safe from the judgement of every other gem in the galaxy. I stepped out into the chilly sky base where many diplomats and runts piled up, and as expected they all looked at me with not so freindly eyes. "What are you doing out of that little pelinquin pearl?", asked a menacing voice from behind me. I looked and saw a large jasper quarding the silver curtains. She walked toward me with her fists ready. "I w-was-", I could not get out my words though, they clunged to me not releasing no matter how hard I tried. "Speak!", shouted the jasper. I started shaking and sweating, the fear and anxiety overwhelmed me. Everyone stared at me, they giggled at my stuttering and sweating. I was going to break down any second now and that would be the end of me. A large orange hand gripped itself around my neck, raising me high above the ground. The umcomfortable feeling and the glare of that jasper quard caused me to suddenly ripp myself together and talk. "White diamond sent me to tell everyone that she want's the next visitor to speak with her.", I got my words out with a fairly calm tone. The large guard dropped me to the ground and looked at me as if she was hoping I woudn't have said anything. I quickly scrambled back into my place in the pelinquin and waited for the next gem to arrive. A small gray sapphire entered calmly started discussing plans with my diamond. I could only think of the danger I was in outside. What would the jasper have done if I had not spoken white diamonds words to the public? The possibilities lingered in my mind.
