When I reached my car I lend against my car and slid down to the pavement placing my head between my legs. I felt so sick maybe it’s because I haven’t eaten all day.
“Here.” I looked up to see Mike handing me a bottle of water.
“No thank you.”
“Your pale Elizabeth. Just drink it okay.” he placed the bottle in my hand. I took a sip. I handed him his water back.
“Do you want me to see if the nurse is still here?”
“No I’m fine.”
“You don’t look fine.”
“I haven’t eaten today.”
“Do you want me to getting something?”
“No thank you. I know you’re here to talk to me. So talk.” He sat down next to me.
“Look Elizabeth I am truly sorry. If I could go back and change what I did I would. I have strong for you. You have to believe me. I would never use you. Never!”
“Are you done?” he looked sad.
“One more thing. Done listen to Emily, She is being a Bitch. So if you hear a rumor don’t wonder, come ask me, if you have any questions?” I gave a slight nod. He got up and left. I placed my head back between my legs until I didn’t feel like throwing up. After about five minutes I felt better. I got up from the hot pavement and put my things in the back seat except for my wallet. I wonder if the cafeteria is still open? As I enter the cafeteria I saw the key club at the far end. As my snickers bar fell on my bag of pretzels I heard some one clear their throat behind me. I turned to see Heather for my math class.
“So is it true that you and Mike hooked up when you when to go look at colleges?” she reached past me grabbed my snacks and handed them to me.
“Thanks.” I took a few steps to my left and put in money for some apple juice.
“Sadly yes.” I said as I grabbed the apple juice.
“What do you mean sadly? He sexy, smart.”
“He’s an ass. He made me feel wanted. It was just a joke, a game.”
“Oh. That’s not right! Don’t worry I’m on your side. I’ll make sure every girl treats him as the plague!” and with that she stormed off back to her group. I gave her one last look before heading to the bleachers to watch Dustin. What have I just done?
When I made it to the bleachers most of the football team had their shirts off. I climbed up half way the bleachers and sat down finishing my snickers bar when I noticed Emily and her stupid cheer losers staring at me. I wasn’t in the mood so I flip them off.
“Somebody pissed off.” I looked up to see a very hot, sweaty, shirtless Dustin.
“Ya I just wish she will disappear.”
“Well if you wish hard enough it may come true.”
“Well we should wish together.” I got up.
“You done already?”
“Ya coach has a date.” he laughed.
“I thought he’s married.”
“He is.”
“Oh.”
“Give me 20 minutes or so to take a shower and change.”
“I’ll wait in my car.”
“Okay.” we headed in opposite direction.
“Stop trying he will never be into you. You should be grateful that Mike gave you any attention but stop trying with Dustin. Rebecca already has her eyes for him.”
“You better stay away from him.”
“It’s sweet that all of you think I’m a threat. Oh and Rebecca he’s not your yet.” I smiled and walked away. I was getting dizzy and really weak. Maybe Emily and her tards make me sick. I sat in the car for 15 minutes or so and I got really thirsty. As I looked up I saw Dustin make his way to the parking lot with some friends. I got out of my car and lend against the hood. When Dustin approached me my phone went off.
“Hello?”
“Lizz, I need you.”
“Maria I don’t..” she interrupted me.
“I think I’m pregnant!” I couldn’t breath. I guess by my facial expression told Dustin something was wrong.
“What is it.” I held my finger to him.
“We made a pack say IF this ever happen no matter what was happening to us we would be their for each other.”
“I’ll be right there.”
“Who was that?”
“Maria. I’m sorry I have to go.” I grabbed my back pack and searched for the makeup homework.
“Is she okay?”
“For now. Oh here it is.” I handed him the homework.
“Here, copy it then tomorrow we can go over it.”
“Thanks.” I jumped into my car and headed to Maria car.
When I arrived Maria had ran out of then house towards me. You could tell she had been crying: her eyes were angry red and puffy.
“Do we need to go to the drug store?”
“Can you?”
“Ya sure. Do you want a particular brand?”
“No.” I got back into my car and went to the nearest drug store. I was in and out. I grabbed to different test, paid and left. I was back at Maria’s in less then 15 minutes. When I pulled up I realized that I could be pregnant. My heart speed up and I knew I was going to throw up. I quickly turned off the car, ran in side knocking over Maria and just making it. I threw up the apple juice and the snickers. I flushed and rinsed my mouth in the sink.
“Here.” she handed me a pregnancy stick.
“I’ll use the bathroom up stairs.” I stared at the stick and back at her as she faded up stair.
Both of us were standing in the bathroom up stairs staring at our stick.
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1........
Time was up we lend forward and oh.........."
