The Book of: M.O.D.Y (Part 1)

Chapter I - Thea's Disaster

Approximately 4.57 Billion years ago, a star was born called Sol orbited by small planets; one planet called Thea. It had the perfect orbit around the sun to support life after Thea cooled down life sprang from it, giving birth to a new race called Theans, they lived on the planet for years evolving, building cities, civilizations, advancing in science.

Since then they split into two different species, Noples and Poples (Pronounced nu-pleys and pu-pleys). The Poples were half humanoid half arthropods creatures, they had four spider-like legs, and two claws for hands. The Noples were humanoid creatures with extra four limbs on their back, and they looked like the Poples' legs. 

Each species had a significant advance in science; the Noples advanced in Biology and Engineering. While the Poples advanced in Chemistry and Physics. The Poples then discovered a radioactive element, and they were so amazed by its powers of bringing energy and killing people. They started to worship it; when people died from its radioactivity, the Poples thought that the gods had chosen them. Then they made it the law to work in the mines to mine the radioactive metal.

The Noples refused to mine that world-destroying metal and protested against the Poples overlords, which lead to a massive conflict between the two species that would last for centuries.

the Poples attacked the Noples destroying their houses abusing their children and raping their women.

Until one brave Nople gathered a team of engineers and scientists, to find a solution to this conflict, This Nople Thean's name was David Young.

David always said, " You can only lose if you never try." He was a brave soldier and a great man, with incredible leadership techniques. People loved him, and many Theans wanted to join the  O.D.Y with him to help out in the conflict.

David Young and the O.D.Y have built radioactive resistant shields for Nople villages, and the Pople people have started pushing the radioactive metals onto the Noples, killing more Nople families faster and faster Until the Noples had enough of the overlords' dictatorship, so they raised an army, and a 93-year war had started. David Young is 127 years old, and he's closer to death, so he wanted to have someone to pass on the memory of David Young.

So he called the old O.D.Y scientists and engineers to make a destruction weapon to end the Poples and start a family to teach his son the ways of David Young.

Unfortunately, the Poples were stronger, and there are lots of them. So David had to make this weapon mass produced at the soonest. While all this was going on the astronomers of Thea saw a mass of rocks forming some big planetary object for the longest time, the astronomers thought that was a moon forming because it was so close to Thea.

But after years later it started to be bigger than Thea, the astronomers got scared, and people began making theories about what that object might be.

 David is way too old now, so he decided to make a robot kid. He wanted this robot to have feelings, So he called the O.D.Y, and they started building a cyborg brain for a half Thean half robot. They named it project M.O.D.Y.

M.O.D.Y is the most human looking creature. The military robots and M.O.D.Y got mixed up, and the brown-haired green-eyed boy became a young adult soldier. The robot was so amazing that it could think of new strategies on its own.

 Unfortunately, the O.D.Y couldn't make anymore, so they made M.O.D.Y in charge of the robot army the Noples began winning the war, M.O.D.Y taught the robot army strategies, Built new weapons, and he helped the broken robots repair themselves.

 The planetary object got more prominent, and it started to attract asteroids towards it and Thea. In some parts of Thea, you could jump in low gravity because it's so close to the planetary object some people go there for pleasure. 

The scientists in O.D.Y feared Thea crashing into the giant planet the O.D.Y looked around for a solution to this disaster.

 The first plan that they thought about is sending people on an ongoing spaceship to find a new planet but they couldn't because of the war.

 The leaders of the two factions Nople and Pople talked about the matter but some things happened, and it didn't go well. As they spoke the Pople overlord freaked out and killed three Noples, because of a mistake in translation when the Nople president said, "we need to find a way to stop this aggression between us and look at the elephant in the room. The giant planet that is forming on our planet's orbit, so, could we stop the attacks and try to save the people of our heritage?" 

For some reason the Pople overlord had a significant reaction to it and shot some spectators, ending the meeting, and the Noples had to take another way out of this, so they sent few people in missions some ended horribly and others left the atmosphere, but they fell again, At this time the crashes of the asteroids were rapid for 2 months then the asteroids stopped all of a sudden, the molten lava on the face of the planet started to disappear!

The O.D.Y were wrong about crashing into the planet as after three months the planet appeared to drift away from Thea, So the scientists in the O.D.Y wanted to take a chance and study the planet, They sent satellites to take pictures and information but that wasn't enough, so they suggested to send people there for just three days and get them back but David Young refused he wanted to send some robots from the army. as the meeting continued M.O.D.Y was eavesdropping and when someone said "how about we make robot scouts, to send there, it would take us months to design and make and we risk the chances of the Poples attacking with an atomic bomb and everything disappears."

M.O.D.Y barged in and said "I have the ability to map out the planet in a matter of days, and I have been working on soil scanners to calculate radiation an-" as M.O.D.Y was talking David Young screams "NO!" with teary eyes.

 It was the first time the O.D.Y see David Young having an emotion, David continues by saying "I will not send my only son to a lava-filled planet with comets and asteroids colliding with it" as David Young said these word M.O.D.Y froze in place with his red scarlet eyes wide open staring into David Young's green eyes, The O.D.Y members saw M.O.D.Y as he tries to hold his tears back as this is the first time M.O.D.Y heard David Young call him his son and not a general or some robot recruit- M.O.D.Y held his tears back and calmed down and said "please David Young, Allow me to go and scout the planet I am the only one equipped to do this, and the robot army already knows all the strategies and techniques to fight so let me go" David Young couldn't believe that the only person that meant the most to him is going away to a journey that might be his last, David sat down on his chair and said "I will discuss it with the members you may be dismissed".
