The Book of: M.O.D.Y (Part 1)

Chapter III- A prophecy of four billion years

Mody's mission lands on Earth, and contact is made, Mody is going down the stairs feeling the hot temperature of lava and melting rocks he stood on the ground looking and scouting for somewhere safe to camp as he flew around the place with his hovercraft, but it was too hot for this machine to work as he went around the craft it started melting he had to find a place and he had to find it fast, and as he sped up he saw on the horizon a blueish white giant spot, as he get closer it turned out to be an ice comet that has just recently crashed there, Mody have quickly temperature proofed the comet to not melt and he dug up a cave house in the ice and he set up the machines on the roof such as the information transmitter, communicators, the G.R.C, thermostats and the comet-astreoid protector shields.

Now Mody is trying to communicate with Thea, As he does this he remembers the scroll David gave him before the mission, he opens the paper and it reads.

"Hello Mody my dear son, keep this text until you reach the 1904th mody, I will explain this in this very paper, as from now on you have split consciousness and you will continue to split it until your body decays one thing won't change though, you're original consciousness which was the soldier you may notice it as the person you speak to when you're alone, it may be scary now but you will benefit from these different personalities, but there is a down side the way your mind is going the consciousnesses will continue and one of them will repel against you well not you, your current consciousness will fade away as you develop a new one because your current mind can't hold three consciousnesses, and you're mind is nowhere near repelling against you, so after hours of solving mathematical equations I crunched the numbers to the 1904th consciousness it would be the last consciousness before the rebel so the rebel may be 1905th or 1906th, I don't know how long a consciousness live in you're mind but maybe a long time, take care son.

Mody was shocked by the words a split consciousness? A repel?! He was confused and as he sunk in the information in his mind he hears a man talking, it was the communicator, Leo was reaching out, "Mody! Mody! Do you reach me? Mody?"

"Yes! Leo yeas I reach you, the mission is a success I landed on Earth I found a safe spot but it is a bit cold"

"Ah! Mody good to hear your voice again, what is the state of the planet?"

"pretty hot and filled with lava, but more ice comets are landing everywhere so it might cool down later"

"that's good if it does support life, do you think if cooled down it'll support life?"

"it would support life if it survives this pummeling of asteroids and comets"

"i think it will Mody, it is a big planet"

"enough about this planet Leo! Tell me about my father how is he?"

"David is doing great, he asks about you a lot, since your ship left the atmosphere he came in the operation room and asking about you"

"thanks Leo, tell him I said hello"

"you got that Mody".

As he left the communication machine to check out the outside a comet crashed in front of the base but it melted right away and it shook Mody's base and he lost consciousness,

when Mody came back to his senses it looked like a long time have passed as the equipment gathered dust and the communicators are raging with a lot of people voices in fear, mody went running to the communicators looking for the one communicator that had David young's voice on it, He as turning communicators off as he goes around them until he heard his father's voice and David sounded in distress and worried screaming in the microphone "Mody, Mody! Where are you? Are you fine? We saw a giant asteroid on our monitors heading to earth and your location seems to be near the impact, answer me please !"

"Hello? David"

"Mody! Good to hear your voice, are you okay?"

"yes I am fine dad, I blacked out for who knows how long, I just woke up the base is in good shape, but the outside is pretty wild and my defense system is damaged but i'm gonna fix it"

"great to know you're okay", "Leo is asking for some information about the planet, and he says your mission will end in four weeks and we'll be sending a lander with two Noples to help you get back"

"Thanks David, i'll send you the information by tomorrow, and tell Leo to send some resources by next week".

Mody left the communications room and went to find out what happened to the defense system and as he opened the door he was surprised to see that the lava had cooled down and the temperature lowered in a major way but it still is very hot, and there was a giant mountain from the asteroid that hit earlier, and the defense system was buried and crushed beyond repair, Mody didn't have any resources to build a new one and Leo won't send any until a week.

After the giant rock pummeled into Mody's defense system Mody was paranoid of all the meteorites falling everywhere around the base, there was so many meteorites that nothing survived outside but the meteorites slowed down to be replaced by many ice comets, Leo talked to Mody and told him that the mission would last longer and not to worry about the supplies as Thea was close enough to Earth at this time of the year and for once the constant pummeling had stopped and a rapid contact with the O.D.Y which allowed Mody to get out and go to the other side of the planet and study the southern part, it meant that he won't see or hear from Thea for at least a month but during that time Thea would drift away and it would make it harder to contact and send information receive materials and it would certainly prevent Mody to speak with David for another five to seven months and that would worry David to death but it had to be done because the situation on Thea are getting worse the Poples won't give up the war and some talk started going around the O.D.Y about sending what they can of Nople people to earth but that would run the risk of Earth never cooling down and never developing an atmosphere and whether the O.D.Y had enough fuel or not.

Days passed while the Mody was in the southern hemisphere with no connection to Thea, but Mody found H2O water which is essential for life and that meant Earth has started developing an atmosphere so that's great news to the Noples because there is a back up plan if the war continues, Mody had to transmit this new exciting information to the O.D.Y as soon as possible but the vehicle that mody arrived at isn't charged and it takes ages to recharge, So he waited for it to charge whilst waiting for the vehicle to recharge he settled in a big cave-house covering the door with a boulder leaving the vehicle outside using solar panels to charge, as Mody lights a torch he sees a cold big hollow cave filled with dust but what was amazing to him is when he saw a puddle of water filled with small algae circles floating around, some rocks forming an arc, and he sets up a bed for him to sleep in besides the rock arc.

Mody enjoys a good night's sleep and is awaken by a loud crashing and explosions sounds, Mody quickly gets up and moves the heavy boulder as fast as he can struggling to nudge the giant rock, doing so tired the poor guy and he sat down for a rest because he couldn't stand straight anymore, after a while from resting he got up to see his vehicle got crushed under an asteroid, which meant he has to wait for either help or Thea to face the part where he's staying, either way it would take a long time, so he set up an armored transmitter on the surface and a receiver to take with him and he dug a tunnel inside the cave to protect him self and he just sat there waiting for help.
