Once the bickering outside my room had stopped, I took that as my cue to get up and get myself some lunch. I know  should ask someone but I wasn't in any mood to deal with Miranda and I sure as hell didn't want to deal with Harry.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the bag of Doritos and a Root Beer when getting back to my room. I shut the door behnd me, not bothering to lock it. I grabbed my phone and sent my brother a text.

"Come visit????" I set my phone down and laid on my bed as I ate a few chips.

"I will be there in 30." My brother replied. I smiled to myself as  waited for him to arrive. Its been awhile since I had seen my brother. I went to college and he want to work, which meant seeing very little of each other. I was glad that he had days off.

"Haley, you have a guest." Mamrie opened my door to reveal my brother.

"Henry!" I smiled at my brother. He shut the door and jumped onto the bed next to me.

"Haley, you sounded upset on the phone." Henry said looking at my face and then down to the bag of peas on my knee. "Is it about the accident or?"

"There is a boy." And that lead me into telling him everything that was bothering me about this boy, my knee, school and Miranda.

"Wow. Have you, um talked to this boy?" He asked me. I shook my head but then nodded.

"I yelled at him to shut up." I laughed. Henry couldn't help but to laugh.

"I have a friend that goes here. Let's grab dinner with him." Henry smiled. I nodded and agreed to go with him. As I slipped on my shoes, those two familiar voices were back at my door.

"Oh, brother. Save me." I whispered to Henry. He grabbed me by the elbow and shoved past Miranda and Harry, not stopping as they yelled my name.

"C'mon Travis is waiting for us." Henry said to me as we left the house. I chuckled as he took me to his car.

"Wait... Can I take a picture with you for my wall?" I asked my brother. He nodded and we pulled weird faces for the pictures. "Thanks."

"Anytime." Henry laughed as he drove through downtown. I watched the people outside and couldn't help but realize how much I loved this place. "We are here. Travis is inside."
