Fall. Such a beautiful season. Trees were changing colors rapidly as each day passed. Blowing into your cold hands, you walked passed many people and stores. The sharp cold wind blew harshly as it made your hair fly wildly behind you. Breathing out a little puff of white cloud you smiled.

You could smell the faint smell of coffee, sweet pastries, vanilla and chocolate. The smell made your chest feel warm and a comforting feeling of friends and family gathering together. Carefully following the smell you came across such a lively cafe. Piano music played gently from inside and the sound of laughter flowed out. With rosy cheeks and your hands beginning to become numb you made your way inside.

As you opened the door a little bell rang, signaling that a customer has arrived. The brown chairs, fogged up windows, dangling Christmas lights...this place was alive. Everything seemed so mesmerizing. You could feel the warmth spread all around your body and soon you could feel your finger tips.

"Ah welcome miss! Please may I lead you to your seat?" Noticing a tap tap sound coming closer to you, a tall figured came up to you.

A grayish blonde boy who looked like he was about 17 or 18 years old. He was dressed very neatly in a apron and a dress shirt with a black tie. He had black pants shoes and dark grey shoes. He had a small smile and his eyes were tired looking but kind.

"Yes, that would be very kind of you." You smiled.

He led you to a very cute window seating area where you could watch passing people come and go. He handed you a menu and excused himself to give you some time. The menu was very cutely decorated and all of the choices to pick from looked delicious. You decided to get the orange daisy caramel pudding and a cup of honey vanilla tea. Once the boy returned you gave him your order and he quickly went into the kitchen.

Closing your eyes for a moment you listened carefully to the piano music and hummed along for you knew the song. This place felt so welcoming and yet faintly familiar.

"Akaashi-san! I'll need an order of orange daisy pudding and honey vanilla tea!" Akinori called inside the kitchen. A tall black haired man stood up against a wooden table, carefully adding icing to a few cupcakes. To his left were small edible flowers made of fondant and to his right the finished cupcakes.

"Akaashi-sannnnnn? Did you hear me?" Akinori called again making the male turn around.

"Oh yes, sorry I didn't answer. I'll make it right now." He looked down at the completed cupcakes and nodded in satisfaction.

Moving swiftly he whipped the pudding mixture and boiled the sugar to the perfect shade of golden brown. Adding everything into a clear cup he then flipped it upside down and out came the pudding, standing tall on the plate. He placed two small orange slices and a four leafed clover in the center.

"It's been a while since I made one of these." He looked down at the small pudding.

He placed the small white and pink flowered tea pot with a tea cup on a tray. Setting the pudding on it as well he nodded to himself.

"Konoha-san? Table 8's order is ready." He was about to turn around when Akinori suddenly stopped him.

"Sorry, but can you take this order out to them? Please? I'm stuck with cleaning tables while bokuto-san is out getting more supplies."

Before Akaashi could protest, Akinori patted his back and left to the other side of the cafe. Sighing slightly he placed the tray in his arms. Akaashi really never went out of the kitchen, unless his co-workers asked him to do something, like give someone's order. He always felt nervous going out of the kitchen, he wasn't confident enough to be like Bokuto or Akinori who always seemed to make the customers feel happy. But he always tried his best.

"I'll just make it quick...." He knew where all the tables, how the chairs were arranged, where customers usually left their tips...he knew this place like it was his own home.

When he approached the table he could see a (h/c) colored girl closing her eyes. Her face was calm and she had a small smile on her face. Her eyelashes were quite long and her lips were a soft pink.

'Is she asleep?..' He tapped her shoulder lightly and slowly her eyes opened. He quickly stepped back.

"Oh...did I fall asleep?" You turned your head as your vision cleared. Standing in front of you, a tall black haired man with such beautiful features and dark grey eyes looked right back. Your eyes widened and you quickly straightened your clothes and your hair.

"U-um! I'm sorry you had to wake me..." Looking to the side but then back at the man.

"That's okay miss, lots of people sleep here but you're probably the one who enjoys it more than anyone else." He looked down and for some reason his gaze landed on your hands.

They were small but slender and your knuckles had a pink tint to them. He glanced at his own, big and strong, a few scars from volleyball practices but he couldn't help but be curious.

"Sir? Are you alright?" Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he realized he still carried your food.

"I'm just fine, here is your orange daisy pudding and honey vanilla tea." He placed them down in front of you and you couldn't help but smile.

"Wow this looks so pretty! It's even glistening from the Christmas lights!" You brought the pudding closer to your face and practically praised it.

Akaashi watched you in amusement, his eyes watch you examine the desert and his curiosity was growing a little more. You suddenly looked at him which made his cheeks heat up a bit.

"Did you make this?"

"I did."

"That's incredible! You must have a talent for making sweets." The sound of the piano music played a different tune, a more gently and lovely tune.

"I suppose I do." He answered plainly.

Taking the small silver spoon in your hand you scooped a little piece of pudding into your mouth, closing your eyes to savor the sweetness. Suddenly these warm and exploding feelings filled your chest making you feel all tingly. You held a hand to your cheek as you smiled to yourself.

"Do you like it?" Akaashi asked you.

"I.....love it." You looked up at him and with your dazed like expression, laughed.

"I've never had anything like this...all these feelings and emotions are just flowing into me. This place is just so...magical...." You touched a dangling starlight from above your head.

"You really feel that way?" His voice came out excited and he quickly shut his mouth, realizing how his words flew out.

"I can't tell you how it feels exactly, so here!" You scooped another piece onto the silver spoon and held it for the handsome man.

"You haven't tried this in a long time have you? So here, have a bite." Smiling generously and motioning for him to take it he did.

Leaning in and taking the bite of pudding he closed his eyes and felt the sweetness and creamy texture of the pudding spread on his tongue. He began to feel a tight grasp inside his chest. A sudden warmth flowed throughout his body as he too had a slight tingling feeling.

When he opened his eyes he could see the colors of the cafe shine brighter and the piano music swayed his heartbeat. Indeed the word 'magical' matched this place perfectly. He never felt this way when he first tried the pudding. Maybe he had forgotten this feeling. The wonderful feeling of seeing colors.

"Isn't it amazing...?" He looked at you and in a long time smiled a genuine smile.

"It is."
