Colorless skies (Akaashi Keiji X Reader)

Piece by piece

Laying in your bed with a soft thud, you let out a breath. The date went well and you were relieved. Suddenly a familiar buzzing noise could be hear from inside your purse. Reaching for it quickly you pulled it out and saw the screen lit up.

One new message from Unknown.

'Huh? Who could this be?' Cautiously unlocking your phone you suddenly received another text.

Two new messages from unknown.

"What in the world does this person want?" Mumbling to yourself, you opened up the texting app.

To: (Y/n)(l/n)
From: Unknown

"Is this (Y/N) (L/N)?"

Replying back quickly you wondered who exactly this 'Unknown' person could be.

*buzz buzz*

Grabbing his phone from his table he pulled the damp towel off his head. Droplets of water ran down his neck and small raindrops of water fell to the ground from the ends of his hair. It was a really long day at work and he was ready to go to sleep.

But thanks to a certain someone who did something that wasn't supposed to happen...happened. He had to go along with his friend's plan. A party at the cafe was going to be held on the 16th of this month. The staff at the cafe would be dressed in their best attire and guest who were invited were to be shown the new menu that would be served. Basically taste testers of new deserts, drinks and food.

His face was flushed a pink color due to the heat from the shower and his bare upper half was exposed to the dim light that illuminated from the small lamp on his desk. He looked at his phone and saw that you replied to his text.

To: Keiji-san
From: (Y/n)(l/n)

"Um, yes it is. And you are?"

Slapping himself mentally for being rude and not letting you know who he was before sending you such a strange message.

'Of course I should have told her who I was. Now she might think I'm a stranger who has her number...'

From: Unknown
To: (Y/n)(l/n)

"Oh (Y/N), it's me Akaashi Keiji. Sorry for not letting you know sooner.."

Smiling in relief that it was someone you knew and not just some random guy. Gosh that gave you the shivers just thinking about a creep or stalker. But of course Iwaizumi wouldn't let them bother you for long.

To: Keiji-san
From: (Y/n)(l/n)

"Akaashi! It's been a while! How have you been? Don't worry about it, I'm just glad I actually know you aha."

He was glad to read that text from you and decided to tell you about the event. Some time passed as he told you about the new party that would be held at the cafe in a week. You gladly accepted the invitation to Akaashi's surprise. You asked if you could bring someone along and Akaashi agreed.

"The more the merrier." He thought to himself as he laid on his back.

To: Keiji-san
From: (Y/n)(l/n)

"Well it's getting late and I'm sure you have a busy day tomorrow. Have a good night sleep Akaashi! <3"

Looking at the text a bit closer he couldn't understand the last part. He's never really used images or those so called "emojis" so it was hard to understand. He would ask Bokuto tomorrow at work. Bokuto used every single emoji that existed so he was sure that Bokuto would know.

"Goodnight (L/n)-san."

Shutting off his phone and placing it by his night stand he sighed and pulled the blanket covers up to his chin.

"It's a chilly night..." He closed his eyes and almost instantly he fell into the grasps of slumber.

Days went by and you continued your everyday schedule. You met up with Iwaizumi a couple times this week and enjoyed some free time thanks to it being after finals.

"Hey did you want something to eat?" Looking up you saw Iwaizumi glancing around for a restaurant or cafe.

"Hmmm are you going to treat me out?~" smirking at him, he flicked your forehead lightly and turned away.

"I just felt like since we're out and all...we could get something to eat..." His cheeks were pink and of course he looked wayyy to cute.

"Sureeeee~" you cooed.

"Oi stop making that face or else I'll make you watch me eat."

"Iwa-chan! So mean!" You mimicked Oikawa's pout.

"Stop you sound like trashkawa." He squished your cheeks.

In the end you had a great evening with him.
