Staring out to the glass windows with small droplets of water, Akaashi sighed to himself. It was a slow day at work and he was getting quite tired. He knew that his shift would be ending soon so he could go home and sleep for the rest of the day.

"Akaashi!" A loud voice rang from outside the kitchen startling the tired soul.

"Yes Bokuto-san?" He slowly rubbed his finger against his temple.

"A pretty lady is here for you!"

Almost dropping the spoon he was holding Akaashi looked up from his work station and brushed off some extra flower on his apron. As he opened the silver door he quickly scanned the cafe for his friend.

His eyes laid on your (h/c) locks and for some reason he felt all his tiredness slip away. Hoping it would be the person he was thinking of he made his way to you.

You were currently talking to the owl ace and your cheeks were tinted pink. You were flustered that the black and white haired waiter would shout something so embarrassing loudly in the small cafe. You slapped his arm playfully making him laugh.

Bokuto looked up from you and saw his friend approaching. Smiling and winking slightly at him making Akaashi raise an eyebrow. As he finally reached your side you turned around facing the raven haired boy. Gasping a bit you let out a small laugh.

"Long time no see!" Smiling a gentle smile you could literally see the happiness shining from your eyes.

"Yes, it's nice to see you again. (l/n)." A small smile formed on his lips.

Bokuto, having an urge to yell out multiple questions of how you both knew each other was called over by another customer getting ready to pay for their meal. He quickly excused himself a little disappointed that he would be leaving you two alone but he knew his friend meant all things well.

"Your friend is quite a talker isn't he?" You laughed.

"He is not only a talker but a very big drama queen."

"Is that so? Well you two must be close. Take good care of him." He nodded and observed your clothing.

With black leggings and a white knitted sweater, paired with brown boots he thought you might have been cold coming all the way here. You had a scarf and a small purse, which he thought was very simple but nice.

You noticed him looking at you and laughed.

"Ah sorry. I was just looking at your scarf. It's very nice and looks warm." He tried to put on his usual stoic face to hide the fact that you caught him starring.

"Oh yeah! My boyfriend bought it for me ahaha."

'Ah that's right, how could I have not notice. A very pretty and kind-hearted women like her would obviously have a lover.' He thought to himself.

He wasn't bummed to hear that coming from you, more like he knew it would happen sooner or later. As he looked to the side you took this chance to glance at him. Studying his face carefully you could tell he had a great jaw line, pale skin, sharp but curious eyes, silky black hair and slightly parted pink lips. Your heart raced a bit from looking at his features.

'Get it together (y/n)! Stop being such a creep!' Slapping yourself mentally you realized that Akaashi had a streak of flour on his cheek.

Getting out a hankerchief from your purse you told him to stay still for a moment. He turned his head to you to ask you why but his words were cut off when you placed the soft fabric on his cheek.

Shocked at your actions he stood still and exhaled slowly. You were quite close to him and he could feel your breath on his neck. Not knowing why but he could feel the tip of his ears heat up. Still wiping his cheek gently you didn't think anything was wrong with it but Bokuto on the other hand, mouth open and his eyes wide stared at you both.

'W-W-W-WHAT?!!! AKAASHIIIIIIIIII?! HE HAS EXPLAINING TO DO!' Rushing back to clean up tables to distract him, Akaashi sighed again.

Stepping away from the stunned waiter you realized what you have done and apologized.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! It's just that you had some flour on your face and I just automatically wiped it off for you." Your face was bright red as you stuffed the (f/c) laced fabric back in your purse.

"It's alright. Thank you for doing that. You are very kind." He smiled again making your face redder.

"Y-yeah you're welcome!" Looking at the time you realized that you were late for a meeting with Iwa-chan.

"I'll come back again soon!" Rushing out the door you left the raven haired boy placing his hand on his cheek and watching your small figure disappear.
