What Happens in Vegas, Doesn't always stay in Vegas

Thursday Night SmackDown

The first week had been rough. In the eyes of the public they were the perfect couple. Fans hated her and still continued to boo her. Seth had sent out several tweets to try and defuse the situation.  Which only escalated things and angered Christina.

"I can't believe you did that?" She seethed.

"I was trying to help," he shot back.

"Well you didn't help you just made things worse." She growled. "When will this end?"

"Not soon enough." Seth hollered.

Christina fell silent. No one had ever raised their voice to her. Tears sprang to her eyes.

Seth let out a sigh. "I'm sorry." He said as he walked over to her. He looked into her eyes. The tears made her eyes bluer than he'd seen them in the week they had been together. Seth leaned in and kissed her. Christina was completely caught off guard but she didn't fight it. Seth went a little further and kissed down her neck. He slowly walked them towards the bed, it was now or never he thought.

"Seth what are we doing?" Christina whispered.

"I don't know." He admitted.

"We can't this it's not going to work." Christina backed away from him and grabbed her stuff and headed to the car. She leaned up against it as the tears streamed down her cheeks. This was a mistake a huge mistake.

Seth looked at the closed door. What was he doing? He kissed her and he enjoyed it and she didn't push away. What was going on? No this wasn't in the cards for Seth Rollins. A girlfriend? No a wife no he wasn't ready for that. He couldn't be. Besides she rejected him.  Didn't she?

Seth Rollins opened Thursday Night SmackDown, "I proved at Money in the Bank and on Monday Night Raw that I am The Man." He chuckled as he held up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship,. "Roman will never win this title and he will never be the top guy again."

On cue Roman music hit, "Seth you better stop running your mouth," he started as he walked up to the ring. Roman fist clinched, "or I'll shut it for you."

"Roman you don't matter. Nobody in that locker room matters."

"Oh see I do and you and I we're going to go again for that title."

"Did I kick you to hard on Monday? We are not going again there is nothing to settle I beat you fair and square."

Roman laughed, "really? Roll the clip." Roman pointed to the screen. "You cheated. But then again I'm not surprised, that's what you do."

Seth Rollins had used the ropes as an equalizer to pin Roman. The ref never saw it.

Before either of them could continue Shane music hit, "gentlemen there is an easy way to solve this."

Seth interrupted,  "there is nothing to solve! Where's Stephanie?"

"Is he always like this?" Shane asked.

"Pretty much." Roman laughed.

Seth stomped his feet.

Shane shook his head and continued, "at Battleground it will be Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship."

"No! No! No! I demand to speak to Stephanie."

Stephanie music hit and she joined her brother on stage. "Seth as much as I would like to say no I have to agree with Shane on this."

"What? No this is my title!" He turned around to face Roman and he lunged at him. Hit after hit kick after kick then he positioned Roman for a pedigree which Roman countered as he tossed Rollins behind him. Seth bounced back and kicked Roman and pedigreed him. Leaving Roman lying on the mat. He pushed his hair back picked up the mic, "you know what fine I'll beat you again and prove once again who the man really is around here." He cackled as he rolled out of the ring.

"Seth just the guy I was looking for." Hunter greeted.

"What?" Seth growled. He wasn't in the mood.

"Someone is sour." Hunter shook his head.

"I'm not sour Hunter I'm frustrated with this current situation."

"Listen unfortunately I have some more bad news." He sighed. "Is Christina around?"

"Yeah she's off with the some of the girls from the women's division."

"She's become well liked."

"I guess so, what's up?"

"TMZ has your wedding footage."

"Excuse me?" Seth said.

"Yeah so Stephanie and I are giving you and Christina the next three days off. So I would suggest to you to get to Davenport before the press does."

Seth gritted his teeth. "I guess the tweet just made things worse?"

"No you made the right call. The footage is for sheer greed."

"Well guess she's meeting the family." He pulled out his phone and booked two plane tickets to his home town.

"Okay now I have to go tell Christina, she's going to love this. She's been more than clear about not getting to involved."

"Well right now it's just another move in this chess game."

"You make it sound easier then what is."

"I suppose I did my apology."

"Thanks Hunter,"  Seth patted Hunter on the shoulder as he walked past.

"Hey Seth," Dean nodded and Seth stormed by him.

"What's that all about?"

"You don't wanna know." Hunter shook his head, "Mr. Ambrose walk with me."

"Uh-oh," Dean muttered.

"Relax you're not in trouble. Quite the opposite." Hunter smiled at him.

The two fell in line with each other.

It didn't take him long to locate her. "Hey can I talk to you for a minute."

Christina looked up at him, his face said a lot of it. It was important. "Okay."

The two headed off to an unoccupied area of backstage.

"Hey listen Hunter just told me TMZ has the footage of our wedding."

Christina gasped. "No." She shook her head.

"Yeah which means we have to play this closer to the vest. Which leads me to to my next thing. After tonight show we're off to Davenport to meet my family."

"Are you crazy?"

"Far from it. If we do then it gives less scandal to the footage."

"This isn't a good idea."

"Well we don't have a choice."

"Whatever." She replied as she brushed past him.

Seth sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. He texted his mom and then his brother to let them know they would be coming. He turned and watched her go back and join Nattie and Paige.

Seth just shook his head as he headed to change and pack up. Twenty minutes later Seth returned. "Ready?" He asked as he walked up to the small group of women.

"I guess." She hugged Nattie and the two said there goodbyes.

"You two be safe." Nattie told them.
