Two hours later they parked in front of the mall. "Seth I really appreciate this. Like I said I'll pay you back."
"It's not a big deal and don't worry about it."
"No it's not right. After all your not obligated to do this."
"And I don't want to argue we've actually been getting along can we just continue it?"
"Your right, but I am still paying you back."
Seth just shook his head. "Okay if you say so." He had no intentions of making her pay him back.
*******
Seth had gotten stopped several times as they walked down the mall. Fans getting selfies and autographs. Christina watched as he signed and smiled.
"Alright guys take easy," he smiled at the two boys.
"You get that a lot?" Christina asked.
"I do. But I wouldn't have it any other way. So where do you want to start?"
"Is there a New York & Company?" That was her favorite store.
"Let's find out." He took her by the hand and walked over to the mall directory. "We do." His finger pointed to the level it was on. Seth smiled over at her, "shall we?"
"We shall." Christina smiled.
Seth took her hand in his. Christina didn't fight it she just looked over at him and smiled. Four outfits later and some jewelry they walked out of the store. Next stop was a shoe store. She found a couple of shoes that would match them and cut the amount of accessories and clothes to buy. They past a formal store and Seth dragged her. He was actually enjoying buying her clothes. She had tried to object but he won.
Seth sat in a chair and watched her. She looked happy.
"What do you think?" She said as she twirled around in the dress.
"You look gorgeous." He said as he leaned forward in the chair. And she did she looked breath taking. The dress was a black with lacing down the side.
Christina blushed, "thank you."
"She'll take it." Seth winked.
"I don't need it."
"Yes you will. I have a few black tie events to attend and I want you to be there."
"You do?"
"Yes we're suppose to be a convincing married couple."
Christina felt her heart sink. For a split second she thought maybe. But then again he was right. So why did her heart sink at his words? "We should go we have to be at your parents house soon."
"You're right."
Seth paid for the dress and he held all the receipts so there was no chance of her knowing how much she owed him and that's what he wanted. He had enjoyed doing this for her.
******
Seth smiled at her as he unlocked the door. "Did you have fun?""I did. Thank you I don't know how but I will pay you back."
"No you won't. Will you stop just let me do this for you. It's the least I can do. I mean you can't go around naked." Seth smirked at her. "Although," he began as he closed the distance between them. He stood there looking down at her. He wanted to kiss her he wanted her.
She looked up at him. She felt butterflies in her stomach. "I uh I um... I need to get ready," she stumbled over her words. What was that? She wondered.
"Yeah sure." Seth smiled as he turned and closed the door behind him.
Christina stood alone in the bedroom. She smiled, though she wasn't sure why she was smiling. She grabbed one of the outfits for tonight. It was casual so jeans and a nice top. She got ready.
"Ready?" He asked as she came into the living room.
"As ready as I can be." She nervously smiled.
"You'll be fine. You look beautiful."
Christina blushed, "thank you and thank you again for the clothes."
"You don't have to keep thanking me. It was nice to see you smile. Which you have a beautiful smile."
Christina smiled, "I do?"
"Yes you do. Did your ex not tell you how beautiful you are?"
