But why the hell couldn't that have waited till the morning?

I had another nightmare

Isn't that the third time this week?

Yeah

Ok go

You know every other time my nightmares have seemed unrealistic?

They always seem to have holes in them. No explanation

But this time it all made sense

You came to visit me for my birthday one year

You came all by yourself somehow and we spent the entire week together

But on the last day, we had a fight over you leaving

It ended with me in tears and you storming out of the house with your packed bag and leaving

I never saw you again and we never made up

There was no call or text or anything

I never heard from you again

The last thing I ever heard about you was on the news one day

You had been caught in the crossfire of a shooting at a restaurant one night

And you were dead

I woke up in tears because it all seemed so real

Then I texted you to see of it was

Thank god you answered

Damn

......

Is that all you have to say??

What am I supposed to say?

You were right

This one is completely different from the others

With all the other ones, I tell you that it could never happen

They're just too unrealistic

But this one could happen for all I know

Couples fight all the time. I mean we haven't but it could happen

And you truly never know when you or someone you love will die

Wow. you are literally no help

I'm sorry but it's true

I don't know when I'll die and the same goes for you

But in case I die tomorrow

Just know that I love you no matter what happens

I always will even if it doesn't seem like it
