Tori

I stormed into my house and slammed the door alarming a crying Lydia.

"What's wrong?" She sniffles rubbing her nose with a tissue.

"Your asking me that question" I chuckled walking over to her and hugging her. She began to sob into my chest.

"I didn't know it could hurt this b-bad. Why does it hurt this bad?" She cried burying her face into my shoulder most likely getting mascara on my creme sweater.

"It's called heartbreak. And to be honest, you shouldn't get used to it. Your beautiful, smart, and confident. Any guy will be lucky to even walk near you in the halls. Jackson is just to stupid to see that. He shouldn't be worth your time to cry over him. He's a jerk and doesn't deserve a single tear. If anything, you should've dumped his annoying ass months ago."I told her making her laugh slightly. She pulled away and wiped at her eyes and nose again. She looked at my sweater and cringed.

"That's going to need dry cleaning" she said making me laugh. She joined me and we took a seat on the couch. "Now that I'm done being a baby, what pissed you off so much?"

"Ok so it's a long story, are you sure you want to know? It's slightly confusing as well" I warned her.

"Oh shut up and tell me the story" she rolled her eyes.

"Ok so me and Stiles have gotten closer and closer every day. I went over his house today and we were going to study or do whatever really and someone was there and I'm not going to say who because you'll freak out-"

"If it was another girl I'll kill him" she informed me. I shook my head rapidly.

"No, no,no it wasn't. But anyway they started talking about something and I have no idea what so I asked what it was. They both ignored me and refused to tell me. I know it's not a big deal but he also didn't tell me he was on first line and now he's keeping this from me. I really trusted him but he obviously doesn't trust me as much. I even confessed my freaking feelings for him which makes me feel so stupid. I overreacted and I'm really regretting it" I groaned placing my head in my hands.

"Your not stupid you like him. How about you text him and say 'sorry for freaking out but I'll forgive you if you score a goal for me tonight' it's lightening up the situation." She suggested.

"That's actually a really good idea." I nodded taking my phone out.

Hey I'm sorry for freaking out on you. I feel really stupid. I've decided I'll forgive you for not trusting me if you score me a goal at the game tonight😊

I sent him this and showed Lydia.

"Perfect. Now we wait" she said. We sat down waiting for his reply. A couple minutes later my phone dinged signaling he replied.

It's ok. I understand why you were upset, I'm sorry for saying that to you. I'll definitely make a goal for you😉

I read aloud so Lydia could hear. She squealed and clapped her hands. "Let's go get you all pretty for the game so when he sees you he will remember his promise" she said grabbing my hand and dragging me upstairs.

She ordered me to take off my dirty sweater and she threw me a lilac colored one and some lace tights for under my skirt I was already wearing since it was cold out. I slid my feet into some simple suede black wedge booties and sat in front of my vanity waiting for Lydia to do my hair. Since it was already curled she just put it half up half down and tied a ribbon around my the hair tie that matched the color of my sweater.

"Now some Lipgloss and...your finished!" She said clapping her hands. I walked to my full length mirror and posed a couple times.

"I look great. Thanks Lydia" I said hugging her. She squeezed me back then grasped my shoulders.

"Let's go see your man" she winked and we got into her car and made our way to the field. We took our seats and watched all the players on the field practicing and warming up. I searched for the number 24 but I couldn't find him anywhere.

"Lydia, he's not here. Not even on the bench" I frowned still searching.

"What's his number?" She asked. I told her his number and she stood up to get a better view. When she sat back down her face showed confusion. "He did say he would be here tonight right? He told you he would score the goal for you." She spoke, her voice rising in anger.

"I know it's not that big of a deal-"

"No it is a big deal. He lied to you, ignored you, and to top it off he flat out told you he didn't trust you all in one day! That's not ok Tori. You either say something to him or you wait until he gets the balls to face you." She told me. I decided to go with option three; realize your an overly emotional bitch and just stay away.

Formal was three days away so me, Allison, and Lydia decided to go shopping. Except right now, we're walking through the woods. Ask Allison.

"Allison, when you said you needed to stop for an errand before we went shopping, a five mile hike in the woods was not what I was expecting." I huffed, clearly out of shape.

"Before I forget, Lydia, I wanted to ask if you were ok with something. Jackson asked me to the winter formal." Allison spoke making my jaw drop. He actually did that?

"Did he?" Lydia said, I could hear the sadness in her voice.

"Well- yeah I mean at least I didn't go into coaches office with him to make out or anything, right Tori?" She asked smiling sweetly at me.

"Look, I'm super sorry I tried to stop him but-"

"I know, he told me what happened" she assured me. We continued walking until we stopped in front of a large tree. Allison opened the bag she brought with her showing us a bow and then some arrows but one in particular looked round and actually quite heavy.

"What does that do?" Lydia asked curiously.

"We're about to find out" Allison mumbled before letting the arrow fly. As soon as it hit the tree it looked like it blew up and fireworks shot out all around it.

"What the hell was that?" I asked shocked.

"I don't know" Allison muttered clearly just as shocked as me and Lydia.

"Well- that was fun. Anymore lethal weapons you would like to try out?" I sarcastically asked her. She then streets looking towards the tree with furrowed eyebrows as if she was trying to find something.

"Hold this" she said pushing the bow into my stomach.

"What? Why?" I stuttered out.

"Because I thought I heard something" she replied walking forward a bit.

"So what if you heard something?" Lydia asked her.

"So I want to find out what that something is. Don't worry. It's probably nothing." Allison shrugged it off. She hesitantly walked forward some more and looked around, alert.

"Well what if that nothing is something and that something is something dangerous?" Lydia shrieked.

"Tori will shoot it" Allison yelled over her shoulder making me perk up.

"What?" I yelled back.

Right now me and Lydia are driving back home, dress less. Allison made us drop her off at Scott's saying we will go tomorrow she 'promisises'. Me and Lydia both had pouts on our faces clearly let down. We loved shopping. My phone dinged saying I got a text from a kid named Kevin on the lacrosse team.

Hey babe, so if you didn't already have a date how about you come with me to the formal? We would look so hot together😏

I scoffed and read it to Lydia who shrugged. "I'd take it. No take it. I'm going with Dave and if my sister shows up dateless, it'll crush our reputations." Lydia told me. I rolled my eyes before accepting his offer. He sent back 'pick you up at 7 sexy' and a winky face. I almost threw up.
