-A week later-
I'm laying in my bed reading a book since I'm grounded.I hear a knock on the door.
"Who is it"? I ask.
Then my dad walks in and sits at the end of my bed.
"Since your grounded your coming to work with me" He said.
"Why can't I stay here"? I ask.
"Like I said" "your grounded" He says.
"We are leaving soon so get ready" He says.
He gets up and leaves the room while shutting the door.I get up and put my shoes on.I put my hair up and walk out of my room.
Sammy is at this school thing, so He doesn't need to come with us.If I wasn't grounded I could stay here by myself.
~buzz~
My phone goes off.I grab my phone from my butt pocket and see a text message from Mary.Wait?Mary?!Uh what in the world?! I stop.I just stand still.I finally read the message.
Mary- Why didn't you answer me?!Why didn't you help me?!What kind of a friend are you?! -10:15am
Me- What are you talking about? Who is this?This has to be a prank... -10:16am
Mary- You know who I am...and you know what I'm talking about, Sue -10:20am
Me- Who is this?!This is so a prank! -10:21am
A few minutes pass and no more text messages.This is so scary. This has to be a prank. This can't be Mary...Mary is dead.
I'm happy I still get to keep my phone while I'm grounded.I'm unhappy because the messages from "Mary".
"SUE"! Dad yells.
"COME ON"! He yells again.
I walk downstairs.I put my phone in my pocket.
"You take forever" He says.
"Its called being a girl" I say.
I walk out the door and get into the car.My Dad does the same.He starts the car.
