Chapter 14

I can't believe I saw Ratliff and Rydel kissing! I mean they're always messing around but I never thought to see this. What went on at the party? Is it something serious am guessing it should be since they are both in the band together it would be awkward if it wasn't. Honestly is none of my business but I can't keep this from Ross. I'll wait and talk to Rydel and Ratliff first I don't want to cause more drama. I went upstairs and just went to sleep.

Ratliff's POV (during the party)

I decided to go to a party with the Lynches since there is really nothing to do today Ross and Laura are gonna stay home am guessing because everything she has been going through. We arrived at the party wow Rydel looked beautiful even more than any other day she definitely caught my attention.

"Hey Ratliff lets dance" she called me over to a crowd of people dancing "Lets do this!" I said . We were having such a good time dancing then a slow song came on. Rydel got closer to me and put her arms around my neck I grabbed her waist.

We danced it was amazing I have never been this close to her. During the song she looked up me and stared at me right in the eyes she started to lean in I did the same. Then our lips met she kissed me so passionately it was magical I felt like she liked me.

Time passed we all decided to go home early we found Laura locked in the basement with some dude. We all helped her we love her a lot we can't let nothing bad happen to her.

The cops took the dood then we all sat in the couch watching tv we didn't want to talk about it we knew it was hard for Laura.

Everyone went to their rooms and sleep I would stay at the guest room as usual. At end of the night it was just Laura, Ross, Rydel and Me. Before we knew it they both left so it was just me and Rydel alone. This should be interesting.

"Hey Ratliff can we talk about the kiss" she asked "Umm sure " I answered.

"Do you like me?" she asked me.

"Yes I do, Do you like me?" I said.

"I do" she said A smile grew on my face. I felt so happy! She looked at me then out of no where we just lost control we started kissing it got very passionate! She laid down on the couch I was on top of her "Mmm Ratliff, we shouldn't do this here, we could get caught" she said parting her lips away from mine.

We walked to the guest room and locked the door. We kept kissing and things got really hot. One thing led to another and We ended up hooking up.

Ross' POV

I woke up to the sound of birds singing. I looked next to me Laura was deep asleep. I went to the kitchen I wanted to make Laura something special for breakfast I looked at the clock it was 8:30 am. I got some waffle mix and put it in the waffle maker.

Waffles are Laura's favorite I wanted to bake some cookies since I hear she loves sugar cookies. Ahhh I forgot the recipe! I decided to go ask Rydel. I knocked on her door a few times she didn't answer. I opened it and she wasn't there. Hhmm I wonder were she is I looked at her recipe book and found it.

I cooked waffle bakes some cookies got some fresh strawberries and dipped them in chocolate let the chocolate freeze in the fridge. I poured some orange juice and milk in separate glass cups. I finally finished I fixed everything on a wooden tray we had specially for breakfast in bed.

I put 3 waffles in a white plate put some syrup and a fork next to it put the bunch of chocolate covered strawberries in a smaller white plate I got the cookies and put them in a bowl and both glasses of milk and juice it looked pretty cool. I walked up stairs to our room. She was still asleep.

I placed the tray on the counter and sat on the side of the bed. I started to kiss here cheeks and lips trying to wake her up. She woke up slowly "Aww what a cute way to wake me up" she said.

"My pleasure babe" I said. Sit down I have something for you. She sat down on the bed and I put the tray over her legs. "Aww babe this is adorable you did all this for me?" she said surprised "Yes babe It's all made for you." I told her . "You're sweet, I love you" she said while kissing me softly on the lips.

She started eating "Oh my god this is delicious" she said while putting a piece of waffle with the fork in her mouth. "Thanks babe, Hey do you know if Rydel was gonna go out because she wasn't in her room early this morning?" I asked her I figured she would probably know since they're super close and she was down stairs late at night.

Laura's POV

Ahh! I can't believe Ross is asking me this. "Ummm no" I answered him without looking in his eyes shoving a cookie in my mouth. "Babe!" Ross said "Yes?" i answered trying to keep my cool. "You're hiding something I could tell, tell me love!" he said

"Babe am not" i tried lying. "Laura I know when you're lying, so tell me I don't want to get upset at you" he said in a serious voice. "Fine, please don't over react though!" I tried telling him"Just tell me!" he said

"Ummmm I saw Rydel and Ratliff kissing last night so am guessing she might be in his room" I said hesitating

"What?!" he exclaimed "Babe don't over react! just calm down" I put the tray of food on the counter and stood up "Ross just don't wait till they talk to you or let me talk to them" I tried stopping him but he ran out the door.

He opened the guest room and there was Rydel and Ratliff laying down in bed they were both shirtless and I think they didn't have anymore clothes on they were both still asleep.

He banged on the wall to wake them up "Rydel! What are you doing here!!!" He screamed at her. "Ross leave them please babe just lets go common you need to calm down" I tried telling him he was red of anger Ratliff and Rydel got dressed.

"Why don't you just leave me alone!" he said and pushed me I fell on my face. "What the hell is wrong with you!" Rydel screamed while running over to me she was dressed so was Ratliff. "Laura are you okay?" she asked me. I nodded "Gosh Laura am so sorry!" he realized he was wrong and walked over to me I was still on the floor.

"Leave me alone!" I ran away I didn't know where to go so I ran to Rocky's room tears flooded my face. "What's wrong Laura?" Rocky asked he stood up quickly from his bed and came over to me.

"Ross pushed me he was mad" I said with tears still going down my face. "He what!! Geez Ross has always had anger problems, you can stay here with me for now I won't let anybody hurt you okay!" he said .

I sat down on Rocky's bed. I am more calm now but I am still upset at Ross. "Hey Laura I know you're in here please talk to me." Ross said from outside. I stood up "You sure you want to do this?" Rocky asked "Yeah I wont let him hurt me." I said.

I walked outside "Great babe am so so so sorry I never meant to push you" He said. "So that's all you're going to say?" I said then walked away. I went outside where the pool is at.

Ross followed me "Babe seriously you mean the world to me I would never do nothing to hurt you!" he said with a sincere look on his face. "Please forgive me I love you!" he added. I looked at him "Fine I forgive you!" I said he then hugged me and I kissed him.

"So babe what are we gonna do about Ratliff and Rydel?" I asked him. "I don't know I guess we're just gonna have to tell my brothers and see what we decide to do." He said.

"Lets go tell the boys then." I said.
