Chapter 24

Laura's POV

I was trying to get closer to hear them but I couldn't I just gave up and left up to my room. What can they be talking about? Am so curious to know. I have to just live with it I guess.

I went up to my room an fell asleep thinking of this situation with Ross and Rocky and everything. One thing was for sure I love Ross a lot more than anything! When I woke up to the sound of my alarm it was 8 in the morning I showered, straightened my hair, did my makeup and got dressed in some jeans long boots and a blue flowery spaghetti strap shirt.

I walked to my job since it was only a few minutes away. I got there 10 minutes early to get everything I needed like my name tag, radio and headset. My clock in time was 10:00 Time quickly passed now it was 6:00 time to clock out and finally go home! First day at the job went great!!!

I was walking back home so deep into my thoughts that I didn't notice Rocky following me. "Rocky what are you doing here?" I asked. "I need to talk to you." He said "There's nothing to say." I said. "Please Laura don't leave us we all love you and am sorry for kissing you I know you love my brother!" Rocky said. "Rocky it's okay but I think it's best for me to stay away I don't want Ross to think am stocking him." I said

"He won't think that Laura he loves you I know he does. He asks for you all the time! Please come have dinner with us Ross isn't home." Rocky said. "Unm fine, Lets go!" I said. He walked me to his car and we drove to the Lynches. All his family and Ratliff were there well except Ross ,They all welcomed me with hugs. We ate around 7:30 and it was amazing Stormie is such a good cook!

We talked for a while now it was late and dark around 9:30! Almost 10 I excused myself and said bye to everyone. Rocky tried to take me home he literally asked me hundreds of times but I wanted to walk and think!

I walked through a really dark and scary street! I then saw some boys following me! I tried to walk faster but then 2 more came from in front of me. They stopped me and tried to touch me. I punched one of them that resulted in me getting punched back. I was now bleeding from my nose and mouth.

They threw me around. I was crying scared my mascara smeared. I kicked one of them an punched another and ran the 4 guys followed me I ran back to the Lynches house it was safer and closer! I ran as fast as I could not looking back!

I finally got to the Lynches and knocked many times scared out of my mind and sobbing hysterically. Finally someone opened it was Ross. "Oh my god Laura what happened to you?" He asked worried I fell to the ground sobbing. "Some guys hit me and tried taking advantage of me!!" I said. He carried me inside to his couch. "Let me see" Ross said picking up my face looking at blood all over my mouth and nose.

"Lets go get you cleaned up" Ross said. Grabbing my hand taking me to what used to be our room. I sat on the bed he got the first aid kit and a small towel wet to clean me up. He cleaned the blood from my face and my mascara that had smeared to my cheeks to. "All done!" He said. Then he noticed my jeans all ripped and my shirt dirty and full of blood.

"Here put this on." Ross said handing me a big sweater and some sweats. I didn't remember how mad I was and how heartbroken that's why I let Ross do this. I also didn't mind changing in front of him he was looking when I took of my shirt I saw him from the corner of my eye. I changed and was still facing away from him then I felt him come from behind and put his hands around my waist.

"Ross what are you doing?" I said while he hugged me tighter. I turned around facing him "You broke up with me remember!" I said. "Yes and am sorry Laura I love you so much you are my everything please forgive me please!!!" Ross said looking into my eyes.

"Fine but that does not mean am taking you back we're just friends okay!" I said he frowned but then smiled. "Now I need to get home let me call a cab." I said. Ross didn't let me so he took me to the hotel. He walked me all the way to the 3rd floor which was where I was staying.

"Bye Ross thanks for everything see you tomorrow I'll give you your sweater and sweats." I said while unlocking my door and opening it." Ummm Laura" He said I turned around then he pressed his lips against mine. I didn't hesitate to kiss back because no matter what happens I will always love him till the day I die. We kissed passionately till I pushed him away. "Ross am sorry but you're with Taylor." I said he frowned then left.

The next day I went to work and got out at 4. I walked to the Lynches house. "Hey Riker!" I said as he opened the door welcoming me with a kiss on the cheek. "Hi beautiful wanna hang out?" Riker said. "Of course that is what I came here for" I said. He walked me to his room. "Wait am gonna change." He said leaving me sitting on his bed.

I got up and went to Ross' room to give him back his clothes. I was opening the door when I heard a conversation. "Angie that was the deal! Why would you guys hurt her! I know you deleted the video but now you guys have to keep the promise of not hurting her!" Ross said into his phone. I kept quiet to hear him continue talking "If you don't fix this am breaking up with Taylor!" He said.

I was quiet when I heard Riker scream my name. That made me crash into the door to Ross noticing someone spying on him. He opened the door "Laura what are you doing here?" He asked. "I came to give you this and am hanging out with Riker." I said trying to sound like if I just got here and didn't hear anything.

"Okay thanks! Did you hear anything?" Ross asked. "Ummm Nooo" I said my voice got higher. "What did you hear" He said noticing my lie. "Fine I heard everything!" I said. "Laura am sorry but I just didn't want you to get hurt please just forgive me! I also didn't want our video to come out on TV for the whole world to see please just understand me Laura! I love you more than anything" Ross said.

"What video?" I asked "They recorded us having sex and threatened me to put it out in the media if I didn't break up with you to be with Taylor." Ross said "Oh my god!!!!" I said.

"Laura please be my girlfriend again!!!" Ross said grabbing my hands and looking me into the eyes. "Ross I-I-I don't know." I said doubtfully. "Please baby girl take me back I miss you!" Ross said. "Yes Ross!" I said with a big smile jumping into his arms. We kissed "Woah are you two?" Riker asked "Yes we're back together!" Ross and I said. "That's great!" Riker said.

Everyone was happy me and Ross were back together! I fell asleep in his arms and woke up today was my day off me and Ross went to the fair. By the way he broke up with Taylor. The fair was crowded but overall it was fun I was sitting alone since Ross went to get us food when someone pulled me it was a big muscular man. He covered my mouth with his hand telling me to shut up. I screamed as loud as I could but no body heard me.

They put me in a big van and drove away I screamed and kicked then the man punched me making me knock out.

Ross' POV

I went back to Laura with our food but she wasn't there I called her phone. Somebody answered "Your precious little girlfriend won't live for long." A man said threatening me to stay away and not look for her because by the time I found her she would be dead.

Tears started running down my eyes in thoughts of loosing her.
