The Tardis came to a sudden stop and The Doctor ran out with Martha. They had landed in Rome on December 16th 2015. It was dark and gloomy and they appeared to be in a cave. The Doctor ran around looking for clues as Martha followed close by.
“Doctor, the angels are this way. Further into the cave and then take a left turn and walk straight until you see an opening. That’s where the first angel is”. The Doctor looked at Martha and then ran in the direction she had told him. “Martha. Hurry up. Times are wasting”. The deeper and deeper the pair went into the cave, the colder and darker it got. Martha sensed something moving behind, but when she looked behind her no one was there.
Both Martha and The Doctor reached the opening, but the angel was nowhere in sight. “This is where the angel was. Right here. We’re too early”. “Martha, calm down. There is probably a reasonable explanation for this. Martha stared at The Doctor. “Probably”? The Doctor grinned. “Probably”.
All of a sudden everything went dark. Darker than it already was. “Martha, is that you?” said The Doctor. “No. I was kinda hoping it was you”. And then, all of the lighting came back on again and Weeping Angels were surrounding them. “Doctor. Do you have a plan”? “Yea, run”.
