It was raining and the streets were filled with people. It was a dull day and The Doctor could not feel anything but sadness. The loss of his family and friends was all that he could think about. He looked up at the sky and watched the clouds grow darker and the rain pour down more heavily.
He slowly walked up the steep hill until he reached the bottom of an oak tree. Right there, perched beneath the shelter of the tree was his Tardis. The Doctor walked inside and took his leather jacket off. He grabbed a book and poured a concoction of his favourite tea and sat in silence. Ever since the war had ended, The Doctor wasn’t quite himself. He usually kept quiet and didn’t set out on many adventures.
He opened the book to chapter nine and started reading. “The Time Machine” was his favourite book, not just because everything that was written in the book was false or because he had a time machine too, but because of all the adventures it reminded him of. The good old days.
Suddenly, a knock came from the door. The Doctor opened the Tardis doors and a short African American woman spoke. “Doctor, it’s so good to see you. But there is a situation”. She stormed into the Tardis and The Doctor was furious.
“Who are you? And what are you doing inside my Tardis.”? The women looked at him. “My name is Martha Jones and I’m from your future”.
