The sky was blue and the trees were bright green. It smelt like newly cut grass. Martha opened her eyes and realised it was too late. She had blinked and now she was all alone. She looked around and found a general store two blocks away. She went inside and started to talk to a worker.
“Excuse me, could you tell me what the date is?” said Martha. The worker looked at Martha with a of stupidity. “It’s April 18th 1987. Can I ask why are you asking for the date”? “I forgot that’s all. I forget things easily”.
And then another customer came in. “Hello, what’s the date”? It was The Doctor carrying a large red crystal. “Doctor”! Martha ran to him and gave him a hug. “We need to stop the angels before we get stuck here even longer”.
And so The Doctor got out a telephone. “Are you going to ring someone?” asked Martha. “Yes I am. Is that ok with you”? And so The Doctor dialled a number and answered to the answerer.
“Hello. Yes it’s me. I know right. It has been a long time. It’s funny I was thinking about you only four seconds ago. Yea. Alright. Well, I seem to have misplaced my Tardis. If you could. Alright. Thank you. How is Sarah? Oh that’s nice. Have you done Scotland? Oh, you will love Scotland. Alright talk to you soon. Bye”.
Martha asked, “Who was that”? The Doctor stared at her and said “Me. From the past. Number four”.
