Morning felt himself being lifted up as Eve put him on her back. "Good idea..." he said, "This way you can get close to him and put him at a disadvantage..." Eve nodded and ran towards Robert. To her shock, he quickly moved back. "This guy is moving too fast for a normal human..." Morning commented. "I don't need your live commentary right now." Eve replied as she tried to come up with a plan. Robert fired a shot at them but the beam paused a few inches away from Eve's head, as if there was an invisible barrier obstructing its path. "It's no use..." Eve concluded, "Even if I did get close to him... how am I supposed to- of course... Morning, hold on tight! As tight as you can! No matter what you do, don't let go... I'm going to try out something new..." Morning raised an eyebrow and said, "Forgive me if that doesn't instil confidence..." as he tightened his arms and legs around her neck and waist. "Okay porky... let's see what you're made of!"
Morning felt a sudden force pull him forward. Eve was Vectoring herself and moving at an incredible speed. It was hard to hold onto her. He felt the wind beat on his face like an angry eagle defending its nest. He had closed his eyes before Eve had started. Now he couldn't open them because of the sheer force of the wind colliding with his face. Eve was doing her best to Vector away any air particles that touched her eye. She looked forward and saw that Robert was trying to move back. "As I though..." she thought, "I can move faster than him if I use Vector... and there is a limit to his reaction speed..." She then felt a cold feeling on her neck. She turned and noticed blood dripping from Morning's ears. She slowed down and then stopped. "What's the matter? If you keep moving at that speed, you can surely get close to me and finish me off..." Robert mocked her with a grin, "Of course, you have Vectors that can heal any damage to your body... but that boy can't take this level of speed. His body will crumble long before you make it to me..."
"It seems we are at an impasse..." Morning spoke while covering his ear, "You can't kill her as long as I'm with her and she can't get to you as long as she wants to stay with me..." Eve put him down. Robert tilted his head and smiled. "Yes. So... what will you do now, younglings? Do you have the confidence to step outside your safety zone? Do you think you have the instincts and speed to dodge my Quill?" Eve narrowed her eyes and clenched her fists. "Don't do it." Morning said as he gripped her hand, "You saw how fast he is... if you step out of my Absolute Trust area, he will skewer you with shots like a literal porcupine..." Eve turned to him and looked into his eyes. He frowned at first and then let go of her hand. He had seen that expression on her face once before... ONCE... She then turned around and looked at the Sun. She looked directly at the Sun. "What are you doing?" Morning asked, "Are you trying to blind yourself?!" She grinned and continued staring at the Sun. Robert yawned and said, "Come on, I'm getting bored here..." Eve turned around again, her eyes clearly hurting as she struggled to keep them open. She still had that grin on her face as she spoke, "I hope you're ready for this... Robert Eligos Ronove Tesla... Pull up your gun, aim straight and don't forget to pull the trigger..." Robert grinned back and said, "I'm pretty sure I don't need shooting lessons from you..."
It was all over in the blink of an eye... Robert saw Eve rush out of the Absolute Trust area. The moment her head was out, he sent a blast right through her... leaving a clean hole in her forehead. She fell. Robert grinned. He then felt a huge force shoot through his chest from behind. Blood exploded from his mouth. He turned around slowly and saw Eve. "H...how...?" he asked weakly. Eve smiled and said, "I'm sure you already know how my sealed power works... My Vectors affect anything which enters the boundary of my body... I stared at the Sun to let a huge amount of photons enter my eyes. I then rerouted most of them back out with new paths... they performed a wonderful dance... a dance which you witnessed as I Vectored the photons into your eye at exact wavelengths and angles to make it look like I had rushed out of the Absolute Trust area while I was actually still inside. Thankfully, you seemed to be at the higher part of the slope... which makes perfect sense, given that you rely on ranged attacks... because of this, you didn't notice the real me standing behind the fake one who ran ahead." Robert's grin widened as he heard her explanation. "So you took my advantages... and turned them against me...? Impressive... and you moved with such speed that I didn't notice you move until you had already struck me from behind... however..." he didn't complete the sentence. Eve looked down and noticed that his gun was pointed at her chest. "How long has that gun been there?" she asked. "Long enough..." Robert said, "I could have put 20 shots in you the moment I felt your blow hit me. Your greatest weakness is your slow reaction time. While your Vectors give you almost limitless speed, power and regeneration... it's no use if you can't-" he coughed out more blood.
