16: Proposal

Sai: so I've heard. You're buying a new house.

Kakashi: it's hard being popular.

Sai: you are the retired hokage. Even when you used to stay in that small apartment when you were hokage, everyone just have to had something to say.

Kakashi: can't argue with that.

Sai: so? Thinking your apartment is too small? Or... thinking of proposing?

Kakashi: and I thought only ino would be that busybody.

Sai: gomenasai. She must have rubbed of me.

Kakashi: how many people already know?

Sai: 90% of Konoha knows you have a girlfriend but don't really remember it already since it was a few months ago topic. 70% knows you're changing a house and it is a topic.

Kakashi: what do they say?

Sai: kakashi-san sure have a lot of money. Of course, he was once hokage. And...

Kakashi: and?

Sai: 30% of comments are guesses about you marrying the girlfriend everyone was talking about. 7% guesses are a new woman . All in all... everyone is quite curious to know who is this wife.

Kakashi: you didn't say anything did you?

Sai: no. I know yuuchi and kakashi-san likes to keep it low profile. I even kept it from ino. If she knows... I'll get scolded because of you two.

Kakashi cold laughs " life after marriage huh."

Sai: I wonder if kakashi-san will be restrained too?

Kakashi: what are you talking about? She haven't said yes.

Sai: right right.

" Oh~~~ kakashi-san. Don't worry. I've told her about your secret plans." Mikomi, her subordinate smiles.

Yuuchi: urusei mikomi.

Kakashi: erm... hah... hah...

Yuuchi: alright. Disperse.

The squad disperses and yuuchi stretches out her hand.

Kakashi: what?

Yuuchi: maguro onigiri da!! I left a note tell you to bring one if you're coming to look for me after my mission.

Kakashi: oh... I forgot.

Yuuchi: eh... now I've got to buy one from the stores. Deh? Looking me for?

Kakashi: nothing much. What did mikomi tell you?

Yuuchi: about you buying a house.

Kakashi: that's all?

Yuuchi: and...She's all hinting about... *blushes* he's going to marry you!! Kinda thing. Then I told her, ' don't be crazy. He probably got a cheap place and it's big. '

" Um." He opens the door with the key and goes inside pulling her in.

Yuuchi: wah. It's kind of big.

She walks to the backyard " It even has a backyard. How much is it?"

Kakashi: don't worry about that.

Yuuchi: I'm just curious.

Kakashi: if this is your house, what is the one thing you really want inside?

" Eh?" She walked back inside " I couldn't... at least tell me how much? I'll pay you back."

He closes the curtains and the house goes dim " baka."

Yuu: hm?

He takes down his mask and then reaches for hers. He takes down her anbu mask carefully and drops it onto the floor. She blushes " kakashi?"

Kakashi: I want this to be our house. Will you marry me?

Yuuchi: eh?!!!

Kakashi: I know it's a little sudden...* scratches back head* and I'm old.... but please consider. I really thought long and hard... I want you to be my wife. Onegaishimasu.

Yuuchi: Kakashi....

He puts the keys in her hand " if you want to reject me, you just have to return the keys to me." He wears back his mask and turns around to leave.

Yuuchi shouts with a little stern in her tone "Kakashi hatake!!!"

He stops in his steps without turning around" hai?"

Yuuchi: maguro.

He turns around" huh?"

Yuuchi: the first thing I want in my house. Maguro!!!

He runs towards her and scoops her up, lifting her legs onto the air carrying her butt " arigato!!! "

Yuuchi: as for the... marriage...*blush*

Kakashi: don't worry. I'll get it all done. Low profile. I know.

Yuuchi: there must be maguro onigiris!!

Kakashi: hai.

Yuuchi: and... it will be good if sasuke can make it.

Kakashi: I understand. I'll try to use my sensei authority a little.

"Arigato." She kisses to his lips.

They separate... they both have tainted red cheeks and saliva threads was in between their lips~~
