12: Happiness

Blue butterflies at the end of one end of the yukata... light green as background colour... plus an cat mask that was different from the one she used in anbu.

Yuuchi: gomen. I'm late. You're usually punctual.

Kakashi: it's ok. *Blushes* you look beautiful. What's with the mask?

She blushes " arigato. Oh. I don't want people to gossip so..."

Kakashi: I see. Lets go.

Yuuchi: wait!! Can I... hold your hand... I'm afraid...

He holds onto her hand " I won't let you get lost. "

Kakashi pov:

I could tell she was gripping onto my hand tightly. Her small hand on my big one... I'm so afraid she will slip off... I squeeze harder as we pass through the crowd.

Yuuchi: ouch.

I stopped in my steps " gomen. I was afraid your small kawaii hand would slip off mine."

" Gomen... my hands are small. " She grabs onto my sleeves " I'll do this instead. I promise I won't let go. But then... that would mean I would have to drag you around..."

Kakashi: thinking I'm troublesome?

Yuuchi: that's not what I mean!! Never mind...

She holds onto my hand entwining with my fingers " I won't let go. So don't worry about slipping off."

Kakashi: alright.

I light entwine my fingers while hers squeezes mine... are you afraid I'll leave you?

Sai: oh. Kakashi-san.

Kakashi: sai. Ino.

Ino: eh... girlfriend huh. That's something new. Who is she?

Sai: ino.

Ino: it's alright isn't it? Why is she wearing a mask?

Yuuchi comes to my ears and whispers " I'll buy food." I nod and she leaves my hand... ah... wanted that to last longer. Guess my popularity isn't a good thing.

Ino: eh?!! Where is she going?

Sai: ino. Don't disturb them.

Ino: sigh... I got it. Let's go.

Sai: um. Good girl.

Finally...some peace. She comes back with takoyaki " lucky. It was empty."

Kakashi: they're gone.

Yuuchi: gomene. Because of me you can't show others my face. I don't want to.

Kakashi: it's ok. But why?

Yuuchi: I don't like... popularity. The Witch is giving me enough popularity problems. They put me on a high pedestal and I've no one to talk sarcasm with.

Kakashi: now you feel me.

Yuuchi: I don't like being the topic. I don't like people being afraid of me like I'm very powerful. That kind of respect... gives me unneeded responsibility.

Kakashi: ale? You're afraid of those?

Yuuchi: of course I am!! Stupid instructions in my life already gives me stupid responsibilities. I want to be... wilful...

Kakashi: alright. I'll let you drag around me wherever you want tonight.

Yuuchi: Kakashi...

Kakashi: anything you want. Anywhere you want.

Her eyes widen with excitement" really?!!"

Kakashi: um.

Yuuchi: maguro onigiri onegaishimasu !!! (Please)

An anbu body flickers to behind her "yuuchi."

Yuuchi: damn it... tamazuki.

Tamazuki: mission. Now. Urgent. Break is over.

Yuuchi: tsk. And they send you.

Tamazuki: only I'm willing to offend you. Plus... everyone is lazy.

Her face saddens and sighs " I understand...." her eyes then strays to a nearby stand " neh Kakashi... can you buy me a present? To commemorate."

I nod " anything. A bracelet?"

She nods " onegaishimasu"

I pulled her along with her hand in mine... we reached the store " which one?"

" Hmm...." she pouts a little" neko!! "

I take the bracelet which had a white cat and tie it on for her " here." And then paid for it.

She pulls onto my shirt and tries to tiptoes... she then whispers" bend down a little..." I did as she told... and a soft kiss was planted onto my cheek as she carefully takes up her mask. That moist contact...

She puts back her mask " I'll be back soon. Sayonara."

Kakashi: um. Sayonara.

Yuuchi pov:

A present from kakashi... my first present from someone so precious... arigato... Kakashi...

I somehow can't stop smiling...

That bright feeling that keeps me feeling so light... I like this feeling...
