Loving Jake

Chapter 2

The morning sunlight was in my face. Saturday. No school today!!. Great. Just relaxing and sleeping all day. But I felt like I totally forgot about something. Then it got me. Jake. We had a date. Which meant I had to go shopping. Burlington was my favorite place to shop. I called Nancy and asked her if she wanted to come. She gladly said yes. So I picked her and her sister.

"So what's the occasion?" Nancy asked flipping through the clothes."Oh, nothing really. Got a date" I replied.

"Really?With who?" she asked curiously.

"Jake...........Bass......" I said breathing in every word.

"WHAT!!!" she yelled.

"Jake Bass!!"

"Link. I envy you. You don't get that opportunity everyday!!!Besides, you could be in his next video" she said giggling.

"Eww..no Nancy. I'm not putting myself out like that. We're only going on a date."

Angelica comes with a shirt and a pair of blue pants in her hand."Does this look good on me?" she asked.

"Definitely" I reply with a smile.

After paying for my dark blue pants and my shirts and my perfume, we went to the movies.

After the movie, I took Nancy and Angelica back home. It was 4:45pm. I went back home and took a shower. I got out and dressed up. Then my phone rang. The name made me smile. Jake."Hello?" I asked

."Hey, so are you ready?" he said

."Yupp" I replied.

"Good, so just give me your address and ill be there in a second." he replied.

I gave him my address and he was already on his way.

I was waiting outside my front door. After five minutes, Jake parked in my parking lot and he beeped the cars horn. I smile and I get in his car."You look beautiful" he says. I blush and thank him for the compliment.

"So, where are we going, Jake?" I asked.

He smiled and said"Chili's

I looked at him and he looked beautiful too. He looked at me and I quickly turned my head down. God his eyes were amazing. I keep looking outside and wonder, is Jake feeling the same for me?. I didn't know. But I sure wanted to find out. When we arrived to Chili's he got out and opened the door for me. I smile and thank him. Then as we enter, a girl gets us a table and we sit. Then we order. The girl leaves with our order and it was Jake and me after that.

"So.." Jake said."Tell me about yourself Link?"

"Well what do you want to know?" I reply.

"I don't know ...your love life?"

"Well, I haven't dated anyone."

"Your kidding right?."

"No I'm serious."

He just looked at me with his beautiful eyes." Its ok. Everyone starts like that Link."

"My name isn't really Link. Its Gabe. I go by Link once in a while."

"Well Gabe, its good to know."

"Yea, so what about you?" I ask

"What about me?" he asks smiling.

"Your lovelife."

"Actually I broke up with my boyfriend. Stupid reasons."

"oh."

"yeah...oh....its really no big deal. Its just all over."

We talked what felt like forever but in reality it was only for 1 hour. After our dinner. Jake took me home. I really didn't get anything out of Jake of his life. He was really vauge from his life and all. He stoppedin front of my house and he smiled at me.

"Well, were here." He said.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Well goodbye." I said opening the door but he grabbed my hand and brought me close to him and kissed me. I stayed in zhock. Amazed to what happened. He winked at me and smiled.

"Good Night."

I got out the car not responding. Just shocked and speechless for the rest of the night
