Red's POV
We were taken down a hallway, which Amelia kept calling a "lab". They kept us on "leashes", which were tied around our necks and had another thing coming off it.
"HEY, YOU! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING US!" Petal shouted. The human pulling the leash looked at us and shouted something, then continued walking. Soon, we passed a big room, and we got lead in there. There was a forest inside, and a bunch of stuff around as well. The humans took us inside, and we got released.
"Follow me," Amelia said, and we ran with her through the forest, until we encoutered two large wolves. One was dark brown with black paws and golden eyes, and another was silver and had a white underbelly, with blue eyes.
"What do you want, Barrier, Rao," Amelia said.
"You're on Fladian territory," The gray wolf snarled.
"Rao, when can you learn how to shut up? It was a rhetorical question." Amelia said.
"I will once I beat the life out of you," Rao leaped onto Amelia, and Barrier backed him up. This is not a fair fight! I leaped onto Barrier's back, and hit his head. He turned around and snapped at me, but I held his mouth shut.
"Hush, child. This isn't your fight, so go somewhere else." I said.
"Sure, I'll get away from you." Barrier bit on my paw, and threw me off him as he charged at the now blind Charcoal.

Charcoal's POV
I heard the sounds of yelping and screaming, but I didn't know what to do. All I could see was red. Red, red, and more red. I felt my self being clawed in the muzzle, and stumbled.
"Rao? Barrier? Petal?" I said. (Yes, he said Petal. 😏)
"You can't see, can you?" The wolf said. From the voice, it's not Petal, and it wasn't the wolf who was speaking, so it was Barrier I think.
"I CAN SEE PERFECTLY FINE!" I shouted.
"Your eyes are completely red, you're not fooling anything kid." I felt a claw slash over my eye, and I fell since I could barely stand up anyways. "You're letting everyone down. Everyone's looking at you getting beat up. You're friends aren't loyal." I got hit in the stomach, and I felt like throwing up. I panted, and gargled. Suddenly, I heard a loud thump.
"Back off!" Petal screamed. I got up, and limped over to behind a tree somewhere, using my tail as a guide.
"Rao, let us through, and you don't have to suffer anymore." Amelia said.
"Fine, but Dire is hearing about this. And he'll be biting your head off, you know he's high than Dorulu, and much stronger too." Rao said, and I heard them running away.
"Come on, Petal, get Charcoal." Amelia said. I felt bad as Petal helped me to walk, because I should be the one injured, not her. We both started lagging behind Red and Amelia, so I took this chance to ask Petal a question.
"Do you, uh, still like me?" I blurted out. I fell to the ground as Petal released her grip.

Charcoal's POV
A wave of doubt splashed over me.
"Just because you're going through a red-out doesn't mean I hate you! And I'm the reason you're crippled now! You should be hating me!" I whisper-shouted. "There are many reasons why fate brought us together!"

Charcoal's POV
Petal started listing reasons why she liked me, which made me want to curl up and die. All I had was one word.
Caring.
And it wasn't even decent, and it probably didn't fit her anyways.
"Come on Charcoal, don't ask questions like that." Petal grabbed me by the scruff and dragged me to where Amelia was going.

Red's POV
Amelia guided us through a tunnel through bushes, and we arrived in a clearing with flowers everywhere and a pond in the middle, with dens surrounding it. I watched a black wolf pad out of the pond, shaking their fur. We locked eyes, and I instantly realized who she was.
Taylor.
---
Hehehe third cliffhanger in a row! So, for those who are wondering, a Red-out is a thing where all you can see is red because your retinas are bleeding? I need to double check, but if it's not called a redout, then assume it's some weird thing Charcoal has. Deal? Okay then, BYE!
