Sometimes I think about how people change. How drastic that change can be.
One minute they're kind, a good person. Then the next minute, they're simply not.
That's how I feel about Dad.
Because even though he wasn't the best Dad, I'd like to think he was a good man before he became a drug addict.
Mum was a good mother before Dad got arrested, before she started drinking, before she started staying out all night.
Veronica was a good sister before Dad went to jail. Maybe even a couple months before then. Now she has this attitude and I just want the old her back.
