"You're so stupid." Dean, the blonde brother, said. "I thought you at least knew how to aim."
Sam, the brunette, turned another page of his book. Rolling his eyes, he glanced at his brother. "I just aimed incorrectly." he defended himself. "You know, things like this happen to everyone Dean."
Dean glared at his brother. "I don't care. You've could've gotten her killed."
Sam knew he was right, but he didn't like to admit it sometimes. He was the smart guy of the family, the one who knew what to do in every single moment. He didn't like it when his brother, the one who wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, was right.
Dean turned his head to look at Laura, who was peacefully asleep in a bed. She passed out due to loss of blood, but she was okay, nothing too serious. It was something they could fix, so they could save the trip to the hospital and make up a lie.
Laura had scratched her knees and her arms. She was sweating a lot, her makeup was running over her eyebags. She also had hand marks on her neck, but those went away quickly, maybe in a few days. Dean had already had those marks numerous times, and they went away the next two days or so, maybe it could be different with that girl.
"How old do you think she is?" Sam asked. "If she's underage her parents might be going crazy."
Dean shook his head. "That's the least of our worries." Dean reminded his little brother. "Dad's still missing, we have absolute no idea where he's at."
Suddenly, they heard a soft groan. They both turned their heads and noticed that the blonde girl was coming back to reality. Her head felt cold and heavy like if she was having a really bad headache. After a few seconds awake, she decided to open her eyes. She immediately noticed that she wasn't in her bedroom. Instead, she was on a weird bed and in a room she couldn't recognize. Laura thought she was too hurt to get up, even if she couldn't feel pain her body functions like if it could, therefor she couldn't move correctly. Laura chuckled, thinking everything was just a dream. Or that was what she thought. She heard a familiar voice.
"Why are you laughing?" Dean asked.
At that moment, Laura didn't care that she was too hurt to get up, she didn't care about where she was. She sat up straight, realizing that the guys who shot her were sitting down near her. Her eyes widened in fear as she quickly jumped off the bed and started running for her life. She wasn't wearing any socks too, so the ground was cold for her.
As soon as she jumped off the bed, Sam and Dean ran after her, beginning her to stop running. Laura didn't listen to them, she was panting and sweating just hoping to find a safe place to hide. She ran around the house, looking up and down.
Heart pumping, she found a bathroom, and locked the door. Laura looked around, hoping to find a window to escape. But there were none. She turned around and glanced for a second at a mirror. She ignored her image at first but then looked at herself closer when she saw the hand marks and her running makeup. Her heart stopped beating when she heard them coming closer by their footsteps. She stopped looking at herself and her horrible appearance.
"God damn it," Dean swore, walking around with Sam in anger. "How the hell can she run like that when she's all beatened up?"
Sam didn't answer, he kept pacing through the house they 'borrowed' hoping that Laura didn't escape. But their doubts were quickly solved when they heard her whisper 'Oh god' into the mirror. They quickly ran towards the bathroom door.
"Look princess, we're not here to hurt you." Dean said. "Just opened the door."
Laura didn't like the nickname 'princess', it seem like if he was making fun of her for being scared. Like if she was a princess in distress. The boys didn't know her real name though, and Laura wanted it to stay that way. She remembered she still had her phone on her, so she called 911 and apparently it was her lucky day.
